Scholarship Description
The Maine Scholarship was established by a Westover alumna who is a longtime resident of Maine. The alumna, who wishes to remain anonymous, said she decided to establish the scholarship at Westover because, “I wanted to make a difference for both the school and the young women of Maine. The Maine Scholarship Fund will provide young women from Maine a secondary education that will serve as an opportunity to diversify their lives and provide them with everlasting friendships.” The Westover School Maine Scholarship program will provide funds for up to two recipients a year to meet their needs for the cost of tuition, room, and board while they are at Westover. Students at all grade levels are eligible for entrance and are selected on the basis of personal qualities, academic merit, and financial need as determined by the School and Student Services for Financial Aid guidelines.
