Scholarship Description

The GGRASF was established to encourage and provide assistance for individuals who wish to further their education in pursuit of careers in the culinary/hospitality industry. With support from our members, GGRA gives people a chance to flourish.  Every year since 1968, the Trustees award tuition scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $6,500. We also give special awards in honor of industry role models David Rubenstein, General Counsel for GGRA from 1938-1968, and Robert Grison, co-founder and first President of GGRA.To apply:  * Applications and guidelines distributed Jan 1st – Apr 30th.  * Applicants must be California Residents at time of initial application.  * Applications must be postmarked or delivered to office by April 30th for consideration.  * Applications are reviewed by the Scholarship Trustees.  * Students are selected for interviews based on need, experience, GPA and application.
