Couch Oil Cares Scholarship

Couch Oil Company of Durham will award four $1,000 scholarships to four high school seniors in a 12-county area who plan to attend a 4-year college or community college.

Women of Distinction Newtork's Annual Scholarship

Women of Distinction Network will provide five young ladies with a brand new laptop computer that rewards students who have made a positive change in their lives. Award Criteria: 1. Applicant must be registered in a technical college or four year institution. 2. Applicant must be a senior level high school student or already attending a technical college or four year institution. 3. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with a permanent resident ID card living in South Carolina. 4. Applicant must be willing to take a picture to upload on the organization's website (Your picture will only be displayed for scholarship award purposes. “A State of Mind” Texas Scholarship

“Texas is a state of mind. Texas is an obsession. Above all, Texas is a nation in every sense of the word.” – John Steinbeck Texas brings a uniquely vibrant, prosperous, and diverse flavor to the world. Alongside its nearly 30 million people, Texas has the world’s 9th largest economy by GDP. It’s the place where both Dr. Pepper and the frozen margarita originated. And across its vast land, it has an eclectic mix of people with a wide variety of backgrounds and perspectives. While being a Texan means something different to everyone, it almost certainly means something. As one small way to celebrate the spirit of Texas and all that it brings to the world, the “A State of Mind” Texas Scholarship exists to alleviate the financial burden of one student from Texas. The scholarship is open to all high school, undergraduate, and graduate school students from Texas who are planning to or currently pursuing post-secondary education. Applicants from any field of study are eligible to apply.

Pine Cone Foundation Scholarship

The Pine Cone Foundation (PCF), a 501c3 organization, supports LD students who wish to attend a California community college. Once awarded a PCF scholarship, it’s a year-round support program that can total up to $5,500 over a 3 year period. Edgar J. Boschult Memorial Scholarship

The fund was established by contributions from American Legion Commanders, Posts, and individual members. The income from this fund has been used to provide annual scholarships to students of the University of Nebraska enrolled in the Army, Air Force and Naval Science courses at the University. ROTC recipients must show qualities of leadership and aptitude for military or naval science, have satisfactory scholastic record and be deemed worthy of financial assistance. In 1972, provisions of the scholarship were amended to accept applications from honorably discharged veterans of the armed services. Veterans must be enrolled as full-time students at the University of Nebraska, and also have a satisfactory scholastic record and be deemed worthy of financial assistance. Re-application is allowed, including previous recipients and those enrolled in postgraduate study. Recipients of the scholarship are selected by the Executive Committee of the Nebraska American Legion.

Innovation in Education Scholarship

LA Tutors awards a monthly $500 Innovation Scholarship to high school and college students who showcase their creativity and make a positive impact.

ASHRAE Region IV Benny Bootle Scholarship

Available to full-time undergraduate engineering or pre-engineering students pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in a course of study that traditionally has been a preparatory curriculum for the HVAC&R profession. Applicants must have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a scale where 4.0 is the highest and/or a class standing of no less than the top 30% and be enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution that meets one of the following: The institution hosts a recognized ASHRAE student branch or The program is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). A one-year $3,000 scholarship available annually to an undergraduate pre-engineering, engineering or architecture student enrolled full-time in a post-secondary educational institution within the geographic boundaries of ASHRAE Region IV (North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia) provided at least one of the following criteria is met: The institution hosts a recognized ASHRAE Student Branch or The program is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) www.abet.org or the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) www.naab.org

Simon Youth Foundation Scholarships

Simon Property Group and Woodburn Premium Outlets are committed to improving and partnering with the communities in Oregon. This winter, Woodburn Premium Outlets invites and encourages all high school seniors to apply for any of 26 college scholarships through Simon Youth Foundation. Last year, SYF awarded $1.2 million worth of scholarships to 300 students across the country! To-date, SYF have awarded $12 million in scholarships to more than 3,700 students in 42 states! Students who live up to 50 miles away from Woodburn Premium Outlets are encouraged to apply! The application period will run through March 1, 2016 and scholarship recipients will find out in May. MusicAuthority’s Annual Music Lovers Scholarship

MusicAuthority recognizes the positive impact that music can have on a student’s learning experience. Studies have shown how music can enhance learning- from improving memory performance to relieving anxiety, music can be a great component to aid a student’s college experience. We are proud to offer our $1,000 scholarship to one current or prospective student. We will be offering this scholarship on a continual basis and we are excited to promote a passion for music and higher education.

Raymond Davis Scholarship

An applicant must be a graduate or undergraduate student who has completed or will complete two academic years of college before the term of the scholarship. The individual must be a full time student pursuing work at an accredited institution, toward the fulfillment of requirements for an degree. Basis of Selection: This scholarship is granted by the society to a student or students of photographic or imaging science or engineering for use in continuing their studies as graduate or undergraduate students. This grant is made for academic study or research in the theory or practice of image formation by radient energy..

Clubs of America

Eligible students will: Write an essay of no fewer than 600 words about their career aspirations and how their current course load will help them achieve success in their careers. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Thinking outside the box is encouraged! Email their essay as a .doc or .pdf attachment to: scholarship@greatclubs.com YouTube submissions are optional, although not required. Video should be no longer than 5 minutes. (Essays submitted via YouTube must also be submitted in writing.)
