John Rainer Fellowship
The John Rainer Fellowship will be awarded to one male and one female American Indian/Alaska Native graduate student. The awards are each $1000. Eligibility: Be an enrolled member of a United States federally-recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group or possess one-fourth degree Indian blood from a federally-recognized tribe. Be enrolled full-time in a Masters, doctoral or professional degree program at an accredited college or university within the United States. Demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) from the United States Department of Education and the office of the university you plan to attend. Application Procedure: Note: Application for the John Rainer Fellowship additionally provides eligibility for other AIGC-administered graduate/professional awards, especially the AIGC Fellowship. The possibility of an applicant being granted multiple awards by AIGC also exists, especially as regards smaller-amount awards. You need only complete one application. Katrin Lamon Fund Fellowship
Katrin Lamon Fund Fellowship will be awarded to American Indian/Alaska Native graduates studying literature, journalism & communication, or related fields. Eligibility: Be an enrolled member of a United States federally-recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group or possess one-fourth degree Indian blood from a federally-recognized tribe. Be enrolled full-time in a Masters, doctoral or professional degree program at an accredited college or university within the United States. Ruth Muskrat Bronson Fellowship
In 2006, Ruth Muskrat Bronson Fellowships will be awarded to one or two American Indian/Alaska Native graduate students in nursing fields. (If nursing applicants do not appear, the fellowships will go to applicants in other health-related fields.) Eligibility: Be an enrolled member of a United States federally-recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group or possess one-fourth degree Indian blood from a federally-recognized tribe. Be enrolled full-time in a Masters, doctoral or professional degree program at an accredited college or university within the United States. Wells Fargo Graduate Scholarships
The Wells Fargo American Indian Scholarship Fund--administered by AIGC--seeks to promote academic achievement and success for American Indian & Alaska Native Students. Wells Fargo Fellows: In 2006, the fund will award two $10,000 graduate Fellowships ($5000 Wells Fargo funds and $5000 matching funds from AIGC) for students pursuing a graduate degree or a professional degree in a business or a gaming/hospitality field and intending to pursue a career in the gaming/hospitality industry. This award has the potential to be renewed throughout the completion of the degree program. Evaluation: Students will be evaluated on academic ability by grade point average, class rank, and curriculum rigor. Also evaluated are exhibition of leadership, honors and awards received, community involvement, an essay, a letter of recommendation, intellectual skills beyond the classroom, accomplishments and professional development. Criteria: Maintained a 3.0 grade point average as an undergraduate or maintained a 3.0 gpa as a graduate student at the time of application. Will be attending a US accredited college or university as a full time degree seeking graduate student. Have demonstrated character, personal merit and commitment. Merit is demonstrated through leadership in school, civic and extra-curricular activities, academic achievement and motivation to serve and succeed. Proof of enrollment in Federal or State recognized Native American/Alaska Native tribe. Activia Training Annual Scholarship Award
Activia Training are pleased to offer a $1,500 annual scholarship for college, university, high school or trade school students in the US. There is no specific course of study required, and you can use the money in whatever way that you feel benefits your studies the most.
There will be two scholarship awards of $750 each year, awarded in November and May as follows:
- The video winner will receive $500
- The essay format winner will receive $250
Furthermore, all entries adjudged to be of a suitable standard will be eligible for an “expenses award” as follows:
- YouTube videos: $20
- Blog articles: $15
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be at least 16 years of age and attending, or have secured a place, at a college, university, high school or trade school in the US.

APTRA-Clete Roberts/Kathryn Dettman Memorial Journalism Scholarship
Scholarship winners must exhibit enthusiasm, aptitude and a sense of commitment for a career in some aspect of broadcast news. Judges will take into consideration a combination of academic achievement, financial need and broadcast career goals that embody the spirit of Clete Roberts and Kathryn Dettman. All candidates must currently be attending a college or university in one of the 13 APTRA states and be involved in some aspect of broadcast news.
To be eligible for APTRA Scholarships, applicants must be a college student currently enrolled at a college or university in one of the 13 APTRA states -- Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. (Incoming freshman and high school seniors are not eligible) Applicants should be pursuing a career in broadcast news.
Students enrolled at schools outside the 13 APTRA states are not eligible.

SelectSpace Scholarship
Selectspace scholarship
At SelectSpace Partitions, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree. The awarded student will receive $500 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree.
Who may apply?
U.S. citizens accepted to or currently attending a college or university within the United States. The winner will be required to provide proof of acceptance to your college or university, or a college transcript.
Deadline:
Applications must be submitted via the web form by November 30.
Next Steps:
The award recipient will be notified of the selection on or around December 31. The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $500 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.

To be eligible for the Daniels Scholarship Program, students must satisfy the following requirements at the time of application:
▪ Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
▪ Be a resident of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming
▪ Be a high school senior graduating from a school in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming
▪ Earn an ACT composite score of 17 or higher with no component score (math, English, reading, science) lower than 17; or earn an SAT combined math and critical reading score of 830 or higher, with math score no lower than 400 and critical reading no lower than 440. All test scores must come from a single test, and must be submitted by the application deadline. Superscoring is not allowed.

General Mills Foundation
Requirements: * Have at least a 2.5 grade point average; * American Indian or Alaskan Native with proof of enrollment or descendancy; * Enroll full-time at an eligible Minnesota or New Mexico tribal college; * Award based on exceptional academic achievement or financial need.
Tony Campman Scholarship Fund
The Tony Campman Scholarship Fund was established in 2006 to honor and memorialize Tony Campman, after serving a distinguished career in the water environment profession. This scholarship was created to encourage students who wish to pursue higher education in the water environment field by providing a scholarship at his/her college or university. This scholarship is for an existing student of a 2 or 4 year Colorado, Wyoming or New Mexico university or college or a resident of the above mentioned states who is an existing student pursuing study at a 2 or 4-year college or university in the water environment profession (e.g., biology, environmental science, engineering with a strong emphasis in wastewater treatment, water pollution control, or environmental protection). The applicant must be officially enrolled as a part-time or full-time student at a college or university for fall. * Amount of and number of Campman awards to be determined by the RMWEA on a yearly basis.
Legislative Lottery Scholarships
How to QualifyLegislative Lottery Scholarships help provide tuition to New Mexico residents who want to attend a New Mexico public college or university. The minimum requirements are: * Be a New Mexico Resident; * Graduate from a New Mexico public high school, an accredited private high school recognized by the Public Education Department, or obtain a New Mexico GED; * Enroll full-time at an eligible New Mexico public college or university in the first regular semester immediately following high school graduation or obtaining a GED; military veterans who meet all other scholarship eligibility requirements have one year to enroll in college following an honorable or medical discharge; * Obtain and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA.
