SelectSpace Scholarship
Selectspace scholarship
At SelectSpace Partitions, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree. The awarded student will receive $500 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree.
Who may apply?
U.S. citizens accepted to or currently attending a college or university within the United States. The winner will be required to provide proof of acceptance to your college or university, or a college transcript.
Deadline:
Applications must be submitted via the web form by November 30.
Next Steps:
The award recipient will be notified of the selection on or around December 31. The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $500 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.

Our scholarship fund was founded in 2003 and we have awarded 19 winners during this time.

We understand the overwhelming number of career opportunities available to students and how difficult this can be to navigate. CareerFitter has tailored its career assessment tool to examine multiple factors of the person to ensure a range of considerations is made to find an appropriate career.
For the 2019 award, we have doubled the value to $1000 to further our support of students and their education. Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply. A specific major is not required for this award, but the applicant should have above a 2.4 Grade Point Average.
Italian Catholic Federation First Year Scholarship
To apply, students must achieve a total cumulative GPA (3½ years) of at least 3.2 and meet one of the following:
1) Are Roman Catholic and of Italian Descent and live within the Roman Catholic Dioceses of Arizona, California, Illinois and Nevada, only where Branches of the Federation are established; or,
2) Are Roman Catholic but need not be of Italian Descent or live where Branches of the Federation are established if either Roman Catholic parent, guardian or grandparent is a member of the "Italian Catholic Federation."
First year scholarships in the amount of $400 will be awarded to approximately 200 applicants. First year scholarship winners are eligible for second, third, and fourth year awards of $500, $600, and $1,000 respectively.
Applications will be judged and evaluated on:

Nevada Energy Powerful Partners Scholarship
For high school seniors in the northern Nevada service area. Up to 30 $1,000 scholarships will be awarded and 2 additional $2,000 scholarships for dependents of NV Energy employees.
Stegelmeyer, Eugene & Nadine Scholarship
Eligible students are graduating seniors in a Washoe County High School (or students pursuing post-secondary or graduate studies in teaching and/or geriatrics) who will attend teaching and/or geriatric programs through a community or junior college, private school, or accredited college or university—in or outside of Nevada
Claudine Williams Harrah's Las Vegas Employee Scholarship
Any high school senior or current college student (GED acceptable) whose parent or guardian is a full-time employee in grade L14 or below and employed by the company full-time for at least three consecutive years when the application is submitted.
Zonta Club of Greater Reno Re-Entry Scholarship
Applicants must be registered with the TMCC Re-entry Center.
Bowker, Peggy, Memorial Scholarship for Women in Engineering
For women entering freshman, returning students, or non-traditional students. Applicants are pursuing an engineering degree from University of Nevada-Reno
NEWH Las Vegas Chapter Scholarship
Qualifications:
Must be a currently enrolled student attending an accredited college
Must have completed half the requirements for a degree or certification in the program you are currently enrolled
Must show financial need and have eligible outstanding debt for tuition, books or supplies at time of scholarship award
Must have a 3.0 GPA
Must have a career objective in one of the areas of the Hospitality Industry (i.e., Hotel/Restaurant Management, Culinary/Foodservice, Architecture, Interior Design, etc.)

Green Law Firm Nursing Home & Elderly Care
Attorney Bill Green and his team at Green Law Firm are committed to improving the quality of care in nursing homes.
With over 26 years of experience serving the community and many years fighting against low standards of elderly care, Bill is dedicated to promoting passionate students who are focused on making care homes a ‘home’ for our senior population.
We are pleased to be offering a $1500 nursing scholarship to high-achieving students who are committed to elderly care and pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing.
Our hope is to further their professional development and continued competence, allowing them to improve the quality of life for seniors at nursing homes.
Applicants will be judged on the content of their application, the essay they provide and on their academic merits.
Eligibilty:
✓ Candidates must be working at a nursing home or in an industry directly related to elderly care
✓ Candidates pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN), including those who already hold a RN certification

Italian Catholic Federation First Year Scholarship
Participant must be Catholic and of Italian descent (or whose non-Italian parents or grandparents are members of the Federation), who maintains a GPA of at least 3.2. They must also enroll in an accredited college, junior college, or university after their graduation from high school. Students apply for the First Year Scholarship as a high school senior. If they win the $400, it is to be applied toward their first year of college. This is why winning students must enroll in an accredited college in order to receive the scholarship. Students must also live in the states of California, Nevada or Illinois where branches of the Italian Catholic Federation are established.
Future Mechanic Grant
Trade School Future is an organization dedicated to helping future mechanics reach their full potential. Our country needs skilled automotive workers and we want to help. Each semester, we’ll be awarding grants of various amounts to students who plan on attending a trade or vocational school with the aim of becoming a mechanic.
This scholarship is open to any prospective student in the United States who plans to enroll in a trade or vocational school, 2 or 4 year university, accredited community college or other automotive higher education institution within the next 12 months.
The applicant must complete a short essay (500 words or less) detailing why they are pursuing an automotive degree.
The applicant must provide a phone number and email address for correspondence about the grant award selection process.
The Future Mechanic Grant for the Fall/Winter Semester is a one-time financial gift of $1,000.
The grant will be awarded to the applicant who best answers the application criteria, including the short essay.
The award funds may be applied to any expenses associated with pursuing an automotive degree or certification.
This is a one-time financial gift and does not need to be paid back to Trade School Future.
