Individuals residing in MGMA Western section states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming) who are current MGMA members and enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management.
Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management, including public health, business administration, healthcare administration and other related areas.The scholarships are not intended to support individuals pursuing degrees in:
other clinically related professions
The Treacy Foundation gives scholarships to starting freshman and sophomore college students who are residents of Montana, Idaho and North Dakota. The scholarships are $2,000.00 per year and are renewable for 4 years provided the student requests renewal each year.
We do not offer scholarships to junior, senior or graduate college students.
The application deadline is May 1st. The applications are then reviewed by the Scholarship Selection Committee. The applicant will then be notified of his/her selection or non-selection.
Once a student has been selected for a Treacy Foundation scholarship, that student
will receive preference for renewal each year provided they write the Treacy Foundation requesting renewal by the May 1st deadline. We do provide preference to students requesting renewal of their scholarships, so we are limited on the number of new scholarships granted each year.
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following qualifications: 1) Be a woman who will have completed 50% of the requirements toward college graduation in an engineering field at the time that the scholarship application is submitted; 2) Be accepted for enrollment in an ABET accredited engineering school in western Washington or Montana; 3) Be in a position to use the scholarship in the school year that the award is presented; and 4) Be a U.S. citizen.
Mary Ellen Russell, a charter member of the PNW section of SWE, devoted her career to engineering and science. She dedicated her life and energy to activities to the benefit of SWE, to geology, to outdoor activities and to the leadership of many young women and men who cherished their time with her. Mary Ellen earned degrees in Mathematics and Geology at the University of Washington. The recipient must have achieved at least a college level junior standing.
A Korean student currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program is qualified to apply. Applicants are judged on the basis of financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community service. .Applicants from the Western Region must attend a school in either: Washington, Oregon, Nevada, California, Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, or New Mexico.
Undergraduate, graduate, and high school students enrolled full time during the scholarship application year.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Students with a Korean heritage studying in the United States regardless of citizenship status (including Korean Nationals).
If extra funds are available, other students (non-Korean) may qualify for some scholarships.

Eligibility:If you are a permanent resident of the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, or Montana tuition may be applied to an out-of-state school. MusicAuthority recognizes the positive impact that music can have on a student’s learning experience. Studies have shown how music can enhance learning- from improving memory performance to relieving anxiety, music can be a great component to aid a student’s college experience.
We are proud to offer our $1,000 scholarship to one current or prospective student. We will be offering this scholarship on a continual basis and we are excited to promote a passion for music and higher education.
ELIGIBILITY: Pursing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture. Applicant must complete financial analysis section of application and exhibit financial need. Resident of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or Wisconsin required. Recipients shall allow Tractor Supply Company to use photographs of themselves and their families in company advertising.AWARD: Approximately one scholarship at $3,000. Not guaranteed.
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree at an accredited four-year college in the following areas of agriculture: business management, economics, sales and marketing or finance. One scholarship will be awarded to members from the following states: California, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Texas. Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale required.AWARD: 10 scholarships at $5,000 each, renewable at $1,250 per year for four years, provided a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and full-time student status in approved major are maintained.
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in select areas of agriculture, agribusiness management, communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, finance, economics, sales, marketing, engineering, mechanization, technology, plant pathology, plant/animal breeding and genetics, range/soil science or public service and administration in agriculture. Resident of Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin or Wyoming required. No more than one scholarship per state.AWARD: 10 scholarships at $2,000 each, non-renewable.

Write an essay of no fewer than 600 words about their career aspirations and how their current course load will help them achieve success in their careers. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Thinking outside the box is encouraged!
