APTRA-Clete Roberts/Kathryn Dettman Memorial Journalism Scholarship

Scholarship winners must exhibit enthusiasm, aptitude and a sense of commitment for a career in some aspect of broadcast news. Judges will take into consideration a combination of academic achievement, financial need and broadcast career goals that embody the spirit of Clete Roberts and Kathryn Dettman. All candidates must currently be attending a college or university in one of the 13 APTRA states and be involved in some aspect of broadcast news. To be eligible for APTRA Scholarships, applicants must be a college student currently enrolled at a college or university in one of the 13 APTRA states -- Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. (Incoming freshman and high school seniors are not eligible) Applicants should be pursuing a career in broadcast news. Students enrolled at schools outside the 13 APTRA states are not eligible. Applicants may provide links to YouTube or other sites with examples of their work. Text material may be attached to the email. SelectSpace Scholarship

Selectspace scholarship At SelectSpace Partitions, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree. The awarded student will receive $500 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree. Who may apply? U.S. citizens accepted to or currently attending a college or university within the United States. The winner will be required to provide proof of acceptance to your college or university, or a college transcript. Deadline: Applications must be submitted via the web form by November 30. Next Steps: The award recipient will be notified of the selection on or around December 31. The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $500 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.

CareerFitter’s 16th Annual Scholarship

Our scholarship fund was founded in 2003 and we have awarded 19 winners during this time. We are trusted by universities, career coaches and companies around the world, and have helped hundreds of students find direction in choosing a well-fitting career path. We understand the overwhelming number of career opportunities available to students and how difficult this can be to navigate. CareerFitter has tailored its career assessment tool to examine multiple factors of the person to ensure a range of considerations is made to find an appropriate career. For the 2019 award, we have doubled the value to $1000 to further our support of students and their education. Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply. A specific major is not required for this award, but the applicant should have above a 2.4 Grade Point Average.

Scholarship awards to residents of Cut Bank, Montana, who are members in good standing or whose family are members in good standing of Cut Bank Lodge No. 1632 for the three previous years. Pride Foundation Regional Scholarships

For residents of areas outside of King County where Pride Foundation is working to enhance the leadership of the LGBTQ and straight-ally community: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Eastern Washington, and Northwest/Southwest Washington.

Siegel / Service Technology Scholarships

Student Eligibility Requirements: * U.S. citizenship (not permanent resident). * College freshman at the time of application. * 3.0 better grade point average. * Montana resident. * Pursue an education at the participating colleges in Montana in the service technology fields of automotive, heavy truck, agriculture, aircraft, auto body repair & refinishing, off-highway equipment or related mobility technology. Terms of Scholarship:Six scholarships will be awarded each year for $1,000 per year.How to Apply: * Download the application and save it to your computer as a Word document. * Complete the application. All applications should be typed and submitted as a Word document or in .pdf format. * Request a recommendation letter from two of your instructors. Ask them to submit their completed forms to the Financial Aid Office by May 15. * Submit the following to your college Financial Aid Office by May 15: o Completed application o Official copy of your college transcript o Letters of recommendation from two instructors Selection and Announcement of Recipient: * Recipient will be selected by the individual universities and notified by the end of June. * Applicants not selected will be notified by the end of July. Payment of Scholarship Funds: * This scholarship will be paid into your account at your selected university in July/August. * It can be used for tuition or any other incidental school expenses. Terms for Renewal of Scholarship: * May be renewed for $1,000 per year for one additional year. * Must maintain a 2.5 grade point average. * Remain in good standing at the college or university. * Complete the Scholarship renewal form.

Paul O' Leary Memorial - Idaho/Montana Section Named Scholarship

This scholarship honors Paul's dedication to hard work, academics, welding, and his love for Montana. To be considered for this scholarship one must provide evidence of a strong work background, hands-on welding experience, academic excellence, and a residency or college tie to Montana. The student must be enrolled full time in a 2- or 4-year welding or metallurgy program. Stephen T. Marchello Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is available for current year high school graduates who have had childhood cancer and are residents of Colorado and Montana. The criteria on which determination of awards is made will be as follows: * High School grade point average (GPA). Please include copy of transcript. * SAT or ACT test scores. * Information provided by the doctor, who directed your treatment, in one of the required letters of reference submitted. If you are unable to contact the doctor, have the hospital or clinic provide confirmation of your treatment. * Information provided by two other people, other than a family member, in the form of a letter of reference. * How you answer the two questions given on the application.

Fort Peck Tribes Scholarship Program

Available to Assiniboine and Sioux members of the Fort Peck tribes in Montana. Applicants must be undergraduates. Approximately 200 need-based awards are given each year of $1,800.00-$3,600.00. Deadlines are July of each year for the Spring and Fall terms, and April for Summer.

Green Law Firm Nursing Home & Elderly Care

Attorney Bill Green and his team at Green Law Firm are committed to improving the quality of care in nursing homes. With over 26 years of experience serving the community and many years fighting against low standards of elderly care, Bill is dedicated to promoting passionate students who are focused on making care homes a ‘home’ for our senior population. We are pleased to be offering a $1500 nursing scholarship to high-achieving students who are committed to elderly care and pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Our hope is to further their professional development and continued competence, allowing them to improve the quality of life for seniors at nursing homes. Applicants will be judged on the content of their application, the essay they provide and on their academic merits.
