Colorado Scholarships

Scholarship applicants must be full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a degree program in manufacturing engineering or technology at one of the following approved Colorado institutions: Colorado State University, University of Colorado - all campuses. Scholarship applicants must have completed a minimum of 30 college credit hours and seeking a career in manufacturing engineering or manufacturing engineering technology. (Graduate students will not be eligible for this scholarship.) Scholarship applicants must possess an overall minimum grade point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. Students may submit a scholarship application in succeeding years. Need is not a consideration in awarding scholarships except when two or more applicants have equal qualifications.

A Korean student currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program is qualified to apply. Applicants are judged on the basis of financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community service. .Applicants from the Western Region must attend a school in either: Washington, Oregon, Nevada, California, Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, or New Mexico. Qualifications: Undergraduate, graduate, and high school students enrolled full time during the scholarship application year. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Students with a Korean heritage studying in the United States regardless of citizenship status (including Korean Nationals). If extra funds are available, other students (non-Korean) may qualify for some scholarships.

Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria: * Colorado resident * Hispanic heritage and/or actively invloved in the Hispanic community * Accepted to an accredited college, university or vocational school * Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average * Recipients are required to fulfilled 10 hours of community service during year of funding A review committee will select finalists based on the following: * Academic achievement * Financial need * Community involvement * Letters of recommendation * Personal essay * Personal interview of finalists

LA Tutors awards a monthly $500 Innovation Scholarship to high school and college students who showcase their creativity and make a positive impact.

MusicAuthority recognizes the positive impact that music can have on a student’s learning experience. Studies have shown how music can enhance learning- from improving memory performance to relieving anxiety, music can be a great component to aid a student’s college experience. We are proud to offer our $1,000 scholarship to one current or prospective student. We will be offering this scholarship on a continual basis and we are excited to promote a passion for music and higher education.

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in animal nutrition, animal/dairy science, agricultural business management, international agriculture or agricultural sales and marketing. Must live on family farm, have strong leadership skills and have participated in community service. Must plan to attend school at Oregon State, Chico State, Colorado State, University of Idaho, Fresno State or California Polytechnic. AWARD: Five scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.

Scholarship Amount: This scholarship includes tuition, fees, room & board, and all required books for the four years. In addition, the student will be given a laptop computer and printer at the start of their freshman year. Number Awarded: One per year Applicants must major in Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Botany, Biology (as it applies to horticulture/agriculture sciences), Forestry, Agronomy, Conservation, Plant Pathology, Environmental Concerns, City Planning and/or other allied subjects. (Approval must be granted by Colorado Garden Foundation for any major other than those specifically listed above.) Only Colorado residents can apply. The scholarship award will be for a maximum of four years. Must be an incoming freshman at a Colorado public college or university. This scholarship offered by Colorado Garden Foundation is a four-year scholarship available to an incoming freshman at a Colorado public college or university.

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agronomy, crop science, agricultural communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, business management, economics, finance, sales, marketing, plant pathology/breeding/genetics, soil science or soil/water conservation. One scholarship will be awarded to resident of Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Two scholarships each will be awarded to residents of Iowa and Nebraska. Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale required.AWARD: 17 scholarships at $1,500 each, non-renewable

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in select areas of agriculture, agribusiness management, communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, finance, economics, sales, marketing, engineering, mechanization, technology, plant pathology, plant/animal breeding and genetics, range/soil science or public service and administration in agriculture. Resident of Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin or Wyoming required. No more than one scholarship per state.AWARD: 10 scholarships at $2,000 each, non-renewable.

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agriculture with a preference in animal nutrition, animal science or farm/livestock or ranch management. Resident of Colorado or Mississippi required. Applicants must exhibit strong leadership skills, have participated in community service and be involved in beef cattle.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.

Eligible students will: Write an essay of no fewer than 600 words about their career aspirations and how their current course load will help them achieve success in their careers. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Thinking outside the box is encouraged! Email their essay as a .doc or .pdf attachment to: scholarship@greatclubs.com YouTube submissions are optional, although not required. Video should be no longer than 5 minutes. (Essays submitted via YouTube must also be submitted in writing.)
