Castle Pines Scholarship Foundation

The foundation awards scholarships to young men and women who have served or are serving as caddies, or who are employed on or about the premises of the Castle Pines Golf Club, the Club House, the Pro Shop, or on such crews which maintain the golf course on the basis of scholastic achievements and good moral character. Limited to residents of Colorado.

CareerFitter’s 16th Annual Scholarship

Our scholarship fund was founded in 2003 and we have awarded 19 winners during this time. We are trusted by universities, career coaches and companies around the world, and have helped hundreds of students find direction in choosing a well-fitting career path. We understand the overwhelming number of career opportunities available to students and how difficult this can be to navigate. CareerFitter has tailored its career assessment tool to examine multiple factors of the person to ensure a range of considerations is made to find an appropriate career. For the 2019 award, we have doubled the value to $1000 to further our support of students and their education. Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply. A specific major is not required for this award, but the applicant should have above a 2.4 Grade Point Average.

Colorado State Grange Leadership and Scholarship Foundation

Scholarship awards to residents of CO, who are members or who are children or grandchildren of a Grange member. Application form required. Giving limited to residents of Colorado.

Council of Energy Scholarships

1. Undergraduates must have completed CERT's 8-week college preparatory program for high school seniors to be eligible for scholarship. 2. Any accredited college or university. 3. GPA: Above a 2.5 average. Required field of study: Engineering, science, business or related fields for scholarships and internships.

Daniels Scholarships

The Daniels Scholarship Program provides a four-year annually-renewable college scholarship for graduating high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, and a commitment to serving their communities. Daniels Scholars are selected because they embody the principles and values Bill Daniels defined as hallmarks of the program: Strength of character Leadership potential Academic performance or promise Willingness to give back to the community Well-rounded personality To be eligible for the Daniels Scholarship Program, students must satisfy the following requirements at the time of application: ▪ Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States ▪ Be a resident of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming ▪ Be a high school senior graduating from a school in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming ▪ Earn an ACT composite score of 17 or higher with no component score (math, English, reading, science) lower than 17; or earn an SAT combined math and critical reading score of 830 or higher, with math score no lower than 400 and critical reading no lower than 440. All test scores must come from a single test, and must be submitted by the application deadline. Superscoring is not allowed. ▪ Demonstrate financial need Please check the website for any updates on application deadline.

Helen K & Arthur E. Johnson Foundation Scholarship

Requirements: * 2.5 grade point average; * American Indian or Alaskan Native with proof of enrollment or descendancy; * Must be enrolled full time at an eligible tribal college; * Must be a resident of Colorado OR a member or descendant of Southern Ute or Ute Mountain Tribes.

Newmont Mining Corporation Tribal Scholars Program

Requirements: * 2.5 grade point average; * Must be enrolled full time at and eligible tribal college ; * Must be a resident of Colorado ; * American Indian or Alaskan Native with proof of enrollment or descendancy.

Tony Campman Scholarship Fund

The Tony Campman Scholarship Fund was established in 2006 to honor and memorialize Tony Campman, after serving a distinguished career in the water environment profession. This scholarship was created to encourage students who wish to pursue higher education in the water environment field by providing a scholarship at his/her college or university. This scholarship is for an existing student of a 2 or 4 year Colorado, Wyoming or New Mexico university or college or a resident of the above mentioned states who is an existing student pursuing study at a 2 or 4-year college or university in the water environment profession (e.g., biology, environmental science, engineering with a strong emphasis in wastewater treatment, water pollution control, or environmental protection). The applicant must be officially enrolled as a part-time or full-time student at a college or university for fall. * Amount of and number of Campman awards to be determined by the RMWEA on a yearly basis.

The Mikkelson Foundation Scholarship Fund

The Mikkelson Foundation Scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding graduate of a Colorado high school who has been accepted to pursue a course of study or instruction at an accredited college or university granting undergraduate and/or graduate degrees. The recipient will be a student who has demonstrated an ability to excel in the academic disciplines of mathematics and science, who will major in engineering, physical or biological sciences, or mathematics, and who has the potential for substantial additional achievement after graduation.The Mikkelson Foundation will provide two scholarships of $3000.00. The recipients will be eligible to receive a like sum each year (up to a maximum of four years) that they remain a student in good standing at their college or university.Eligibility for The Mikkelson Foundation Scholarship 1. The applicant must be graduating from a Colorado high school. 2. The applicant will be studying engineering, mathematics, or science (physical sciences, chemistry, or biology) at an accredited four year college or university. 3. The applicant will be beginning his/her studies in the fall. 4. The applicant must have an unweighted GPA of at least 3.7. 5. The applicant must have a cumulative SAT score of at least 1800 or a composite ACT score of at least 28.

Stephen T. Marchello Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is available for current year high school graduates who have had childhood cancer and are residents of Colorado and Montana. The criteria on which determination of awards is made will be as follows: * High School grade point average (GPA). Please include copy of transcript. * SAT or ACT test scores. * Information provided by the doctor, who directed your treatment, in one of the required letters of reference submitted. If you are unable to contact the doctor, have the hospital or clinic provide confirmation of your treatment. * Information provided by two other people, other than a family member, in the form of a letter of reference. * How you answer the two questions given on the application.

Bill Martin Scholarship Fund

The Bill Martin Scholarship Fund was established in September 2002 to honor and memorialize Bill Martin, who passed away on August 7, 2002, after serving a distinguished career in the water environment profession. This scholarship was created to encourage students who wish to pursue higher education in the water environment field by providing a scholarship at his/her college or university.This scholarship is for high school students, enrolling in a 2- or 4-year college or university for study related to the water environment profession. Applicant must be a high school senior from Colorado, Wyoming or New Mexico in good standing, who has applied to a college or university with the interest of pursuing an environmental career. The student winner must show proof of enrollment in the environmental related program at the college or university for fall to receive a scholarship check. * Amount of and number of Martin awards to be determined by the RMWEA on a yearly basis

Green Law Firm Nursing Home & Elderly Care

Attorney Bill Green and his team at Green Law Firm are committed to improving the quality of care in nursing homes. With over 26 years of experience serving the community and many years fighting against low standards of elderly care, Bill is dedicated to promoting passionate students who are focused on making care homes a ‘home’ for our senior population. We are pleased to be offering a $1500 nursing scholarship to high-achieving students who are committed to elderly care and pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Our hope is to further their professional development and continued competence, allowing them to improve the quality of life for seniors at nursing homes. Applicants will be judged on the content of their application, the essay they provide and on their academic merits.
