The got milk?/Milk Mustache campaign has partnered with USA Today for the ninth annual Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year (SAMMY) Awards. This contest is looking for 25 outstanding students who are grinding out the homework, taking to the playing field and of course, drinking milk. Each of the winners: High school seniors can apply today for the 2006 SAMMY program at www.whymilk.com. Each applicant will need to exercise their brain and describe in 75 words or less how drinking milk is part of everyday life and training regimen. The contest searches high and low for 25 outstanding students that are hitting the books, taking to the playing field and drinking milk. The winners will each receive a $7,500 scholarship, attend a special awards ceremony at The Milk House at Disney's Wide World of Sports, join other SAMMY winners in the Disney's Wide World of Sports SAMMY Hall of Fame, and grace the pages of USA Today with their very own milk mustache ad.
