Scholarship Description
G. Scott Ransom Scholarship Fund of the Duluth/Superior Alpine Club will provide financial awards, for expenses associated with pursuing a competitive ski experience.
Selection Criteria:
The scholarship Committee of the Community Foundation will select individuals scholarship recipients. They will base their decision on the applicant’s financial need, academic record, written recommendations and seriousness of purpose as directed to the ski program.
Awards Given from the Fund:
Awards are divided based on the level of the ski program that individual athletes will compete in and are paid directly to the Duluth Superior Alpine Club in the name of the winning athlete.
Application Instructions
Contact the Duluth Superior Area Alpine Club for an application. Return the application to the Community Foundation by the September 20th deadline.
