Scholarship Description
Applicants must be members of the Special Libraries Association who have the M.L.S. degree and have worked in special libraries at least five years. Preference shall be given to those who display an aptitude for special library work, who show promise of accomplishment, and who are judged capable of making specific contributions to the library profession. Applicants must be accepted into a certificate or degree program offered by an accredited college or university, or by a professional association or society. Preference will be given to study program proposals to be completed within two years from the date of the award. Applicants must submit evidence of financial need.
