Scholarship Description
An undergraduate student may apply if enrolled in the last three years of: (1) a B.S. or Pharm.D. program in an accredited college of pharmacy or (2) a baccalaureate degree program in a related field of scientific study and have demonstrated interest in, and potential for, a career in any of the pharmaceutical sciences. U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is not required. Six (6) awards of $4,500 are provided for an undergraduate research project, $500 to attend an AAPS Annual Meeting. The $4,500 may be used for any purpose decided by the awardee and faculty sponsor that will enable the student to have a successful program i.e. student stipend, laboratory supplies or materials related to the project, travel, etc. None of the funds shall be used for indirect costs by the institution.
