Scholarship Description
Student must be a Hawaii resident; of Hawaiian ancestry; enrolled full-time at an accredited university/college in the United States majoring in hotel/lodging management; and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Up to two students will be awarded scholarships.
Deadline for applications is July 1. Written requests for scholarship applications will be accepted by the Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association beginning February 1. Mail requests to HLTA, 2270 Kalakaua Avenue, Suite 1506, Honolulu, Hawaii 96815 or download from the website.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Students with the dedication and leadership potential to work toward criteria to be considered for the Clem Judd Jr.
Memorial Scholarship:
• Must provide proof of Hawaiian ancestry (birth certificate and/or birth certificate of mother, father, grandmother or grandfather).
• Must be a resident of Hawaii
• Must be a junior or senior attending an accredited university or college and accepted in a hotel management program.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
