The undergraduate Water in Science and Engineering Scholarship was created by the Intermountain Section of the AWWA to encourage science education and training related to the field of water quality, supply, or treatment and to support an outstanding undergraduate student in that field.
Students are eligible to apply who are pursuing a water related science or engineering degree in the Intermountain West. Students who have been accepted into a program but have not yet begun coursework are eligible to apply. Applicants for this scholarship are considered without consideration of race, gender, color, or creed. Students are eligible to receive an AWWA scholarship once per degree program.
This scholarship will be awarded as a one-time grant in the amount of $1,000 and a year’s IMS AWWA membership with educational and career opportunities.
