Scholarship Description
Awarding three (3) students an individual prize of $3,000., this competitive scholarship is available to full-time college students with low vision, chosen from among those who meet the visual acuity and academic guidelines.
Guidelines and the on-line application are available on the web site from January 1st, to 11:59 pm EST March 1st each year. The application must be completed online, and all supporting documentation submitted electronically.
Semi-finalists will be selected to participate in a telephone interview with committee members. Winners will be notified in late spring. Winners are expected to attend our annual meeting, which is held in conjunction with the American Council of the Blind Conference & Convention and generally takes place the first or second week in July.
