Scholarship Description
This scholarship was established in 1992 by Mr. and Mrs. Lee Schwenk to provide financial assistance to people pursuing a degree in elementary education for the purpose of promoting quality preparation in a field that has a major impact on our youth.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Graduating high school senior who is a Kalamazoo County resident or attends a Kalamazoo County High School; planning to pursue an elementary education degree; evidence of leadership and academic achievement; full-time enrollment. Financial need may be a consideration but is not a requirement for application.
