Scholarship Description
The scholarship provides financial support to a senior from Kalamazoo Central or Loy Norrix High School and is intended to recognize noteworthy improvement during the student’s three to four years of high school course work in English composition. Consideration also is given to the qualities of enthusiasm, creativity, positive expression, clear communication, determination and perseverance.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The applicant must be a graduating Kalamazoo Central or Loy Norrix High School senior planning to enroll full time in an accredited college or university. The applicant must have shown noteworthy improvement during his/her three to four years of high school course work in English thereby having achieved exceptional ability in English composition.
