The Raskin Scholars program is intended to help defray the cost of college tuition for Chicago-area students interested in the creative arts. This need-based, bias-free program requires a student’s nomination by a school professional (teacher or counselor) and an online application to be submitted by the student. Finalists will be brought to downtown Chicago for an in-person interview. The winners will receive an annual tuition stipend, renewable for the duration of the undergraduate’s education.
Interested guidance counselors, teachers, parents and students should go to the College Scholarships page for further information on the program and both nomination and application forms.
College Scholarships are awarded each year to students of academic achievement who otherwise might not have the financial means to attend the college of their choice.
Raskin Scholars must demonstrate a commitment to their education, a high degree of performance in that pursuit and an interest in the creative arts, be it professional or amateur, performance or personal, in any way artistic.
The creative spirit is central to the diversity and fabric of our country. And the Raskin Foundation seeks to celebrate that spirit in the lives of college-bound youth.
