Scholarship Description

Citizens of Boone County for students who are interested in pursuing a career in agriculture or a related field. (Some related fields are: horticulture and landscape architecture, food science, entomology, animal sciences, biochemistry, biological engineering, agricultural economics, agronomy, forestry and natural resources, agricultural education and botany to name a few.) Length of Scholarship: One Year Renewable: No Requirements / Selection Criteria Residency: Boone County, Indiana College: Current college student Enrollment: Any accredited* public or private college, university, technical or vocational school, or graduate degree program *(Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.) Specialized Study: Agriculture-related field Financial Need: Yes Minimum GPA: 2.5 (4.0 system) Written Essay: Yes References: Yes - 2 Finalist Interview: No Award Received Tuition & Fees: $2,000 Method: Check made payable directly to college or university Application Requirements Send To: Community Foundation of Boone County P.O.
