Scholarship Description
Purpose: To provide scholarships for deserving Northeast Ohio students studying accounting at an accredited college, university, or other educational institution. Eligibility: To be eligible, you must: * Be a resident of Northeast Ohio * Be accepted to or enrolled in a college, university, or other institution, and majoring in accounting * Be enrolled full time * Have a minimum 2.75 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale Selection process: A selection committee comprising a broad mix of individuals from Greater Cleveland will choose scholarship recipients based on the completed application. Selection criteria also include commitment to an accounting education, character, and potential to benefit. A personal interview may also be required. Award process: The annual award amount will be based on the foundations spending policy, market performance of the fund, number of finalists selected, and their individual financial need. Awards must be applied to tuition, fees, books, supplies, and equipment required for the course. Recipients must reapply to be considered for additional support from this fund.
