Scholarship Description
To provide funding to members of AANP who wish to conduct research for a doctoral degree project. Amount Awarded: $1200 Number Awarded: 1 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: This program is open to current student and full members of the academy who are pursuing a doctoral degree and working on their dissertation research. Applicants must be a currently licensed, practicing NP in the United States and the principal investigator on a research project that is to be used for their degree program. Their GPA in their doctoral program must be a 3.5 or higher. The research must have an outcomes-based primary care focus relevant to health care provided by NPs within the United States.
