Scholarship Description
This scholarship encourages Maine-based professionals in the mental health field to obtain the best graduate level training possible. The Catharine Wilder Guiles Scholarship will provide assistance to Maine residents with demonstrated financial need who are pursuing graduate education in the mental health field at the University of Maine at Orono or the University of Southern Maine. Preference will be given to second-year graduate students with demonstrated commitment and potential; students who plan to work in the public sector (community mental health) rather than the private sector in Maine; and to students participating in classroom setting rather than distance learning.
