Scholarship Description
The Herman H. Derksen Scholarship is open to residents who are pursuing a trade or vocation and will attend an accredited two-year college or licensed trade/vocational school in San Diego County. Applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and demonstrated financial need. Special consideration is given to applicants who have a record of involvement in their community as demonstrated by their extra-curricular activities, community or church service, or work experience Past recipients may re-apply and will compete with all other applicants.
