Chattooga Club Employee Scholarship Endowment Fund

Scholarship Description

The purpose of the Chattooga Club Employee Scholarship Endowment Fund is to encourage current Club
employees to pursue their education and to assist them with the rising costs of higher education.

ELIGIBILITY
Up to three (3) one-time scholarships, each worth up to $2,000, are available this year. To be eligible to compete,
you must be:
(1) employed with the club as of the date of award; and
(2) in at least your 2nd season of employment with the Club; and
(3) a senior in a secondary school or doing equivalent work, or a secondary school graduate.
Eligibility will be verified in August prior to making awards.
The Community Foundation scholarships will be awarded without regard to age, race, national origin,
ethnicity, gender, disability, sexual orientation, political affiliation, religious belief, or any other characteristic
protected by law.

In addition, applicants must demonstrate:
Financial need (unless otherwise noted)
Academic achievement or potential (based on class rank, GPA and SAT scores)
A history of active participation in school activities, community service, extracurricular involvement, and/or work experience
Strong moral character
