Scholarship Description
The Board of Directors of the Atherton Family Foundation sets aside a portion of the Foundation’s income each year to be used for scholarships. These scholarships perpetuate Mrs. Atherton’s interest in sustaining Protestant Christian endeavors in Hawai’i.
Requirements:
Be an ordained Protestant minister.
Be a resident of the State of Hawaii.
Be a graduate of an accredited school of theology.
Be pursuing an advanced degree (generally a doctorate) related to your ministerial profession at an accredited institution.
Please note that the Atherton Foundation no longer supports continuing education (conferences, trainings, seminars and/or programs not terminating in an advanced degree) for ordained ministers.
