The Firefly Sustainability Scholarship was created to financially assist like-minded individuals in their education. We want to inspire your creativity as well. So, there are several ways you can participate.
Choose your passion. Only ONE is required.
1.) Write an essay on your vision of the sustainable resort of the future. - between 500 to 1,500 words should work well.
2.) Create a short video presentation or story board (2 to 5 minutes) of your vision of the sustainable resort of the future.
3.) Create & implement a sustainability awareness campaign using social media to educate the public and restaurants there is an economical, eco-friendly alternative to disposable fuel cells used for table lighting.
4.) This will test your creativity! Reuse, repurpose & upcycle disposable fuel cells that restaurants use for table-top lighting. You know, those nasty little plastic containers filled with paraffin oil that are hidden in candle holders and end up in our landfills!
