Business Scholarships

Here are some of the Business scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.

Chicago Roofing Contractors Association Scholarship

The Chicago Roofing Contractors Association will award at least one $3,000 renewable scholarship to a high school senior who will enter college in September each year in the following programs – liberal arts and sciences, engineering, architecture or business. The scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of academic performance, faculty recommendation, extracurricular activities, employment experience, and a demonstrated interest in a productive career.

NABA Scholarships

To be eligible to receive an award, Applicants must: Be African-American (Black) or of African descent. Be currently enrolled at a four-year United States college or university as a full-time (12 semester hours or equivalent), undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior, or first-year senior accounting, finance, or business major or be a full-time graduate student (9 semester hours or equivalent) enrolled or accepted into a master's-level business program. Current high school students are not eligible. Meet a minimum grade point average.

The Dwight P. Jacobus Scholarships

The Dwight P. Jacobus Scholarships were established by the Association of School Business Officials of Maryland and the District of Columbia to assist those citizens of the State and/or District who require financial assistance to secure a college education. Scholarships are awarded to deserving undergraduate students pursuing a career in Business or Education at an accredited institution of higher education within Maryland or the District of Columbia. Dwight P. Jacobus was the first Executive Director of ASBO. Number of Scholarships Eight (8) scholarships may be awarded each year. At least one scholarship will be awarded to an individual enrolled in an approved program leading to teacher certification. Criteria for Award Awards are made by the Association of School Business Officials of Maryland and the District of Columbia based upon: Scholastic achievement Financial need Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) scores or American College Test (ACT) scores Quality of extra-curricular achievements Value of Award Each scholarship has a value of $1,000.00 for the school year awarded; to be paid directly to the school in which the recipient is enrolled. Renewal Each recipient may retain the award subject to the following conditions: A recipient must reapply for continued scholarship assistance annually The recipient must continue to be accepted for admission to the undergraduate program in education or business The recipient must be enrolled full-time as defined by the recipient's attending school The recipient must submit proof of continued academic good standing (minimum 3.0 GPA) The recipient may receive the award for not more than four years Eligibility Scholarships may be awarded only to persons who have: Been residents of Maryland or the District of Columbia for at least one year preceding the date of award Been accepted for admission as a full time student (as defined by the recipient's attending school) Demonstrated a financial need A minimum 2.0 overall GPA Applicants Who Will Be Considered High School graduates Current freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior college students Application A student who wishes to be considered must file an application and supporting documents with the Chair of the Scholarship Committee for ASBO of Maryland and the District of Columbia, no later than March 1. Golden State Minority Foundation Scholarship

The following are the scholarship requirements: - Attend school or be a resident of California - Qualified under-represented ethnic minority (Black, Latino, Native American) - Minimum GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale - U.S.A. citizen or permanent legal resident - Currently enrolled as a junior or above in college - Employed no more than 28 hours per week - Full-time status at a four-year college/university - demonstrated community service

Western Union Foundation Global Scholarship Program

The Western Union Foundation Global Scholarship Program (WU Scholars) is a program designed to support young people and their efforts to pursue a post-secondary education. Selected scholarship recipients will receive USD $2,500 each to contribute toward tuition or school fees at an accredited post-secondary institution and will be selected based on criteria relating to the program's three pillars: Perseverance, Aspiration, and Community. To be eligible, students must be seeking an undergraduate degree in one of the following categories: science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and business/entrepreneurship. The application, which requires a letter of recommendation and an academic transcript, opens Wednesday March 8th. The application deadline is Wednesday, April 12 at noon Eastern Standard Time. Abilene Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors Scholarship

Upper level/ Business Administration students/Nontraditional This scholarship rotates annually among the three local universities and is awarded to an upper level college student (junior or senior) majoring in business administration. 2014 Scholarship will be awarded to an ACU student, 2015 HSU and 2016 MCM.

Horace M. Condley Scholarship Fund

Upper level/Junior-Senior/ Business/Accounting student This scholarship was established by partners of Condley and Company, L.L.P. to honor the memory of founding partner, Horace Condley. Mr. Condley believed strongly in the value of education. This scholarship is to provide financial help for upperclassman (junior or senior) accounting students at McMurry University

Ethics in Business Scholarship Program

The Ethics in Business Scholarship Program provides assistance to undergraduate students who enroll at community colleges and eligible private Florida colleges and universities.

GE African American Forum Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to undergraduates majoring in one of the programs offered by a School of Business or Engineering. To qualify, you must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale and have completed at least 12 hours of credit in your major or school of concentration by the spring semester of your sophomore year. All applicants except freshmen and graduate students will be considered for this scholarship. Award recipients will be selected from a combination of the following criteria: University academic achievement, service to NSBE (local, regional, and/or national), and other professional, campus and community activities.

Henry Belin du Pont Dissertation Fellowship

The Henry Belin du Pont Dissertation Fellowship at the Hagley Museum and Library is designed for graduate students who have completed all course work for the doctoral degree and are conducting research on their dissertation. We invite applications from Ph.D. candidates whose research on important historical questions would benefit from use of Hagley's research collections. Applications should demonstrate superior intellectual quality, present a persuasive methodology for the project, and show that there are substantial research materials at Hagley pertinent to the dissertation.

NDS / Student Recognition Program

The Senior Student Recognition Program recognizes graduating four year college seniors planning a career related to dairy (production agriculture, manufacturing, marketing, agricultural law, business, communications, veterinary medicine, research and environmental sciences) who have demonstrated leadership skills, academic ability, and interest in dairy cattle. ONLY two applicants per college or university are accepted for this contest in any given year. Two letters of recommendation are required from the department chair or faculty members who are familiar with the applicant’s activities and academic achievements. The total number of awards will be determined by the number and quality of applicants.

NDS / Kildee Graduate Scholarships

The top 25 All-American contestants in the past three National Intercollegiate Dairy Judging Contests plus the Platinum winners in the past three National Dairy Challenge Contests are eligible to apply for up to two $3,000 scholarships for post graduate study in a dairy related field. Students may apply for the scholarship in their junior or senior year of college. The awards are base on rank in the national contests, academic standing, leadership ability, student activities, future plans and experience with dairy cattle. These scholarships are to be used for advanced study related to the dairy industry (production agriculture, manufacturing, marketing, agricultural law, business, veterinary medicine and environmental sciences) at the school of their choice. The winner will be recognized at the National Dairy Shrine Awards Banquet. The scholarship will be paid in two installments. The winner must submit an official transcript following their first year of graduate study to the Executive Director to receive the final payment.
