ISF supports Islamic organizations and mosques by planning and managing joint scholarships. ISF is honored to host the ISF-Yaseen Foundation scholarship. The ISF-Yaseen Foundation Scholarship program is only open to members and individuals affiliated with the this center. Description and Eligibility: ISF accepts online applications once a year starting in December for a period of three months. Each Eligible Applicant Must Be: Muslim and active member of the Muslim Community; Attending an accredited university in the U.S.; Majoring in an ISF supported field of study; Maintaining a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average; A Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.; An undergraduate (junior/senior) or of graduate standing.

The ISF-SoCal Shura Council Scholarship is only open to members and individuals affiliated with this organization. The Islamic Scholarship Fund offers a wide range of scholarships based on the fields and majors it supports. ISF also offers many joint scholarships with partner organization that share its common mission and vision. ISF is honored to work with the Council on American-Islamic Relations, CAIR to host the ISF-CAIR Scholarship. This scholarship is only open to law and public policy students. Recipients of this scholarship are encouraged to intern with one of the many CAIR offices around the US. ISF encourages its scholarship recipients to fulfill a volunteer service obligation with MPAC within one year of receiving this scholarship. ISF is pleased to expand its activities to the Greater Boston Region through the ISF-Syed Ibrahim Memorial Scholarship initiated by the Syed family in memory of Syed Ibrahim. This scholarship is open to local residents of the Greater Boston region who upon graduation will remain or return to the region to play a prominent role in their local community through their activism and leadership, developing visionary ideas for the future of their community. In addition, ISF encourages its scholarship recipients to fulfill a volunteer service obligation through relevant internship programs within one year of receiving a scholarship under the direct supervision of ISF and its regional Strategic Partner the Islamic Society Boston Cultural Center, ISBCC. Catherine W. Pierce scholarship was established to support students who are majoring in disciplines within the Arts and/or History. Mrs. Pierce had a great interest in helping deserving students pursue the fields of Art or History. The award amount is up to $5,000. The Dirksen Center sponsors the LaHood Scholarships to promote the study of politics and governance as practiced by the distinguished public servants who have represented Illinois's 18th district in Congress, a list which includes Abraham Lincoln, Everett Dirksen, Robert H. Michel, Ray LaHood and, currently, Congressman Aaron Schock. The purpose of the LaHood Scholarships is to provide financial support for tuition, fees, and books to Bradley University juniors who are majoring in a discipline related to The Dirksen Center's purpose and interest or in a subject related to the study of the federal government. The program is managed by The Institute for Principled Leadership. The LaHoods endowed the program with a series of donations to The Dirksen Congressional Center beginning in 2005. Who is Qualified to Apply? In order to be considered for a LaHood Scholarship, students must meet the following requirements: They are a junior in good standing who will enter their senior year of study in a field related to the study of the U.S. government (e.g., political science, public administration, American studies, U.S. history). They attend Bradley University. They have a Grade Point Average (on a four-point scale) of at least 3.5 overall and 3.5 in their major. They agree to write a 250-word evaluation of the impact of their scholarship before the end of their senior year. In 2010, the GFOA’s executive board voted to create the Government Finance Professional Development Scholarship to support the studies of part-time students with a career interest in state and local government finance. The Government Finance Professional Development Scholarship competition is for graduate students who have been admitted on a part-time basis to a graduate program in public administration, finance, business administration or a related field. Four scholarships of $7,000 each are available.
