Public Administration Scholarships

Eligibility: • Graduate students pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree• Part-time or full-time enrollment GPA: 3.00

The Edith Schwab Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Edith Schwab, Deputy Director of the Legislative Research Commission. This scholarship provides a non-renewable award of at least $1,000 to a graduate student pursuing a degree and career in government service (i.e. public service). This includes, but is not limited to fields of study such as public administration, teaching, public health, or social work.

Established by the Federation Board of Directors. Scholarships are available for graduate students pursuing a degree in Jewish Communal Service (other than the rabbinate or cantorate). Financial need (35%), academic merit (40%) and Jewish involvement (25%) will be considered. One scholarship will be awarded. Candidates must be enrolled in or applying for full-time graduate degree program or certification program in Jewish Communal Service, or a related graduate program such as social work, public administration, etc. at an accredited college or university. The program must include a supervised internship in a Jewish communal setting.
