Occupational Therapy Scholarships

Here are some of the Occupational Therapy scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.

The Fred Sammons and Barbara Rider Endowed Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to students enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program in the state of Michigan. Preferences will be given for students who are residents of Michigan and who are members of the Michigan Occupational Therapy Association.

AOTF Nebraska Scholarship

Two scholarships of $250 each for Nebraska residents enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program in Nebraska and having completed their junior year. Applicants must be members of the Nebraska Occupational Therapy Association.

Julia D. Sweeney Endowed Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to an occupational therapy or occupational therapy assistant student within the state of New Mexico. Scholarship amount TBD. QUALIFIED APPLICANTS MUST: Meet all eligibility requirements; Have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement; Supply application data including: (1) Two references and (2) Program Director's statement;

Rosa Hartsook Endowed Scholarship

One scholarship for a resident enrolled in a graduate educational program in Ohio who is a registered occupational therapist or a certified occupational therapy assistant who is doing graduate study in a field related to occupational therapy in an Ohio University. Scholarship amount TBD.

Chris Ebbers Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to one occupational therapy student and one occupational therapy assistant student within the state of South Carolina. Scholarship amount TBD. Please check the website for any changes on the deadline of application.

AOTF New York Scholarship

Scholarships for occupational therapy students at professional master's degree level in New York state, who are residents of the state of New York and who are members of the New York State Occupational Therapy Association. Scholarship amount TBD. Please check website for any changes in award deadline.

AOTF North Carolina Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to occupational therapy students at the associate level and occupational therapy students at the professional level and who are members of the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association. Scholarship amount TBD. Please check website for possible changes in deadline of application.

AOTF Oklahoma Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to one professional level student and technical level student within the state of Oklahoma. Scholarship amount TBD.

Frank Oppenheimer Scholarship

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS MUST: Meet all eligibility requirements; For Post-baccalaureate scholarships, this must be the first degree in Occupational Therapy; Have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement; Supply application data including: (1) Two references and (2) Program Director's statement; Applicants for post-baccalaureate scholarships must be enrolled at the professional level (Master's or OTD) in an accredited or developing Occupational Therapy educational program and have completed 1 full year of Occupational Therapy coursework.

AOTF Texas Scholarship

Two scholarships to be awarded annually: one at the post baccalaureate degree level and one at the associate degree level to Texas residents attending any curriculum in the state of Texas and members of the Texas Occupational Therapy Association. Scholarship amount TBD. QUALIFIED APPLICANTS MUST: Meet all eligibility requirements; For Post-baccalaureate scholarships, this must be the first degree in Occupational Therapy; Have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement; Supply application data including: (1) Two references and (2) Program Director's statement; Applicants for post-baccalaureate scholarships must be enrolled at the professional level (Master's or OTD) in an accredited or developing Occupational Therapy educational program and have completed 1 full year of Occupational Therapy coursework. AOTF Oregon Scholarship

One scholarship for a professional level student who is a resident of Oregon and is attending Pacific University in Oregon. Scholarship amount TBD.

Western Union Foundation Global Scholarship Program

The Western Union Foundation Global Scholarship Program (WU Scholars) is a program designed to support young people and their efforts to pursue a post-secondary education. Selected scholarship recipients will receive USD $2,500 each to contribute toward tuition or school fees at an accredited post-secondary institution and will be selected based on criteria relating to the program's three pillars: Perseverance, Aspiration, and Community. To be eligible, students must be seeking an undergraduate degree in one of the following categories: science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and business/entrepreneurship. The application, which requires a letter of recommendation and an academic transcript, opens Wednesday March 8th. The application deadline is Wednesday, April 12 at noon Eastern Standard Time.
