The Texas CSA Scholarship

For residents of Texas Eligibility To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria: 1. Current member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) 2. Actively enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours towards pursuing a degree 3. Completed 24 credit hours towards a degree (for graduate degree applicants, this can include undergraduate credit hours) 4. Have at least six (6) credit hours remaining after the award date (after December 30) 5. Achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0) or 4.5 (out of 5.0) based on the most recently completed 24 credit hours 6. Have not been awarded any AHIMA Foundation scholarship for the academic degree being sought through this application 7. Submit a completed online application and all of its components Additional requirements are listed on the online scholarship application

The Precise Coding Services, Inc. Merit Scholarship

For a student who is enrolled in the Florida A&M HIA program Eligibility To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria: 1. Current member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) 2. Actively enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours towards pursuing a degree 3. Completed 24 credit hours towards a degree (for graduate degree applicants, this can include undergraduate credit hours) 4. Have at least six (6) credit hours remaining after the award date (after December 30) 5. Achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0) or 4.5 (out of 5.0) based on the most recently completed 24 credit hours 6. Have not been awarded any AHIMA Foundation scholarship for the academic degree being sought through this application 7. Geraldine Smother Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to applicants who have had to overcome challenges toward achieving their educational goals. Eligibility To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria: 1. Current member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) 2. Actively enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours towards pursuing a degree 3. Completed 24 credit hours towards a degree (for graduate degree applicants, this can include undergraduate credit hours) 4. Have at least six (6) credit hours remaining after the award date (after December 30) 5. Achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0) or 4.5 (out of 5.0) based on the most recently completed 24 credit hours 6. Have not been awarded any AHIMA Foundation scholarship for the academic degree being sought through this application 7. The Dot Wagg Memorial Scholarship

For graduate students with a JD degree or working toward a JD degree Eligibility To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria: 1. Current member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) 2. Actively enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours towards pursuing a degree 3. Completed 24 credit hours towards a degree (for graduate degree applicants, this can include undergraduate credit hours) 4. Have at least six (6) credit hours remaining after the award date (after December 30) 5. Achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0) or 4.5 (out of 5.0) based on the most recently completed 24 credit hours 6.
