Kansas Career Technical Workforce Grant

The Career Technical Workforce Grant is available to students enrolled in an eligible career technical education program operated by a designated Kansas educational institution that has been identified as offering a technical certificate or associate of applied science degree program in a high cost, high demand, or critical industry field. Designated Kansas educational institutions include technical colleges, community colleges, and public four-year colleges that award associate of applied science degrees; and Washburn Institute of Technology. Only technical certificate and associate of applied science degree programs are included among the eligible programs. Preference in awarding goes to applicants with financial need.

We are interested in endeavors that help people to become healthy and whole, expand consciousness, improve communities and make the world a cleaner, harmonious, and more compassionate place to live. We are exceptionally interested in anything that seeks to apply compassion to human suffering whether this be through a professional career or through volunteer or charity work. We are offering ongoing, yearly scholarships of $250 - $500 to students who are seeking a future career path in service to humanity.

MedicareSupplementalInsurance.com Therapy Professionals Scholarship

Premise$1,000 annual scholarship to be awarded to the chosen applicant. Scholarship shall be awarded to one (1) recipient. Applicants must be any person 17 years of age or older who demonstrates interest in physical, massage, recreational, or occupational therapy or psychology professions and is interested in attending a related program, undergraduate, graduate, or accredited training program at an accredited institution of learning within the United States. Requirements: Applicants must be any person 17 years of age or older who demonstrates interest in physical, massage, recreational, or occupational therapy or psychology professions and is interested in attending a related program, undergraduate, graduate, or accredited training program at an accredited institution of learning within the United States. Applicant must use scholarship award for a related program as outlined above within an accredited institution within the United States. Applicant must be either a citizen of the United States or a foreign student with a valid United States Student Visa. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, based on the previous year’s academic performance. Students enrolled in any mental health therapy (psychology, psychiatry, etc) or chiropractic program are eligible to apply. Application Process Applicant shall submit all contact information as contained within the application, including name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, and sex. Applicant must be prepared to submit proof of age should he or she be chosen as the winner and recipient of the scholarship. Applicant shall be prepared to submit proof of enrollment or acceptance to an accredited institution of learning should he or she be chosen as winner and recipient of the scholarship. Applicant must submit an essay of at least 500 words, but no more than 1000 words, explaining what they hope to accomplish in the field of physical, massage, recreational, or occupational therapy and how they will impact the lives of others with the education and knowledge they acquire while in school. This essay will also include the student’s opinion on why they feel they should be selected to receive the scholarship funds. Selection Applications will be reviewed by a panel and the winner will be selected based on criteria set forth in the requirements section of this document as well as the opinions of the editors of MedicareSeupplementalInsurance.com. Once the winner is decided and notified of the award, he or she will be mailed a W9 tax form and the check will be mailed to their address. The winner of the scholarship will be fully responsible for the taxes incurred from receiving the award. Deadlines Applications are now being accepted and will close one month prior to the date the award is given. Imagine America High School Scholarship

The Imagine America Foundation created its Imagine America High School Scholarship Program in 1998 to help provide scholarships for high school students. This annual scholarship program has helped thousands of high school seniors afford a career education at hundreds of career schools across the United States. Each year, every high school in the United States and Puerto Rico may nominate up to five graduating seniors to receive a $1,000 Imagine America scholarship!

MAPCCS Scholarships

Since 1983, MAPCCS members have granted in excess of $3,000,000 in scholarship assistance to high school seniors interested in attending private colleges and career schools. Scholarship recipients are selected based upon their scholastic achievements, community involvement, extra curricular participation and recommendations from teachers, counselors or administrators. Applications are available through high school guidance offices, the MAPCCS office or the admissions/financial aid office of each participating member institution.
