Here are some of the Culinary Arts scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.

TigerChef Culinary and Hospitality Program Scholarship Award

Tigerchef is excited to be giving away a scholarship to any culinary student who submits a winning essay on what inspired them to choose an educational path in the food industry! Please send all submissions to scholarship@tigerchef.com. The deadline for receiving scholarship submitted applications is biannually, twice each year, on May 1st and November 1st. Please include all relevant contact information in your email. TigerChef is a wholesale restaurant equipment supply store, servicing the restaurant and catering business for the past 10 years. Our expertise in the food industry drives our success and has aided us greatly in establishing and maintaining our fine reputation. Whether we are working closely with new entrepreneurs looking to outfit their commercial kitchens; or current customers who want to re-stock their current kitchen inventories, we enjoy successful relationships and look to grow them with each and every sale. We want to share our passion for success in the restaurant equipment industry with those who are passionate about their culinary skills and ambitions. Together we form a natural partnership that can benefit one another. We supply the equipment and you supply the talent and know-how. Royal Scholars Program

The Royal Scholars program is designed to provide an opportunity for outstanding college students to advocate the food and fiber industry, leadership and the American Royal. Royal Scholars will travel to Kansas City, Missouri, in the summer for training, Business and Scholarship Luncheon and again during the 116th American Royal to participate in School Tours, PRCA Rodeo, the American Royal Parade and Youth Leadership Day. In recognition of the outstanding achievements of the Royal Scholars and their continuing advocacy of the food and fiber industry, the American Royal Association will award a $2,500 scholarship to each student selected as a member of the Royal Scholars program.

CANFit Program Scholarship (Undergraduate)

Criteria: *Must be a Minority student. *Must be enrolled in an approved bachelors level in Nutrition, Physical Education, Culinary Arts, Public Health Nutrition at an accredited university in California. *Must have 50 semester units of college credit completed with an official copy of college transcripts and 2.5 or better GPA (Cumulative) for undergraduate requirements.

CANFit Program Scholarship (Graduate)

Criteria: *Must be a Minority student. *Must be enrolled in an approved masters level, or doctoral program in Nutrition, Physical Education, Culinary Arts, Public Health Nutrition; or American Dietetic Association Approved Pre-professional Practice Program at an accredited university in California. *Must have 12-15 units of graduate coursework completed and verified with an official copy of university transcript and a 3.0 or better GPA (Cumulative).

The James Beard Foundation Scholarship Program

The James Beard Foundation Scholarship program helps aspiring culinary students realize their dreams by supporting them on a path to success in the rewarding world of the hospitality industry. Our Scholarship Program is one of our educational pillars, essential to the fulfillment of our mission to celebrate, preserve, and nurture America.

Kirby McDonald Education Endowment Fund

Through the Kirby McDonald Education Endowment Fund, the foundation awards $8,000 and $10,000 college and graduate scholarships and college and graduate scholarships of up to $2,500 per semester to Alaska Natives who are original enrollees and the direct lineal descendants of original enrollees of Cook Inlet Region, Inc. for studies in culinary arts, business administration, and engineering.

Ione & Vincent Berg Family Scholarship

Eligibility: Fox Valley Technical College student enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program or Hotel and Restaurant Management Program, who has maintained a minimum 2.5 GPA and has financial need. Award Amount: Four $250 scholarships will be awarded each year; one scholarship will be awarded each semester to a student in the Culinary Arts Program and one scholarship of $250 will be awarded each semester to a student in the Hotel and Restaurant Management Program. Selection: Selection of recipients will be made by the Fox Valley Technical College Scholarship Selection committee. Payment Procedure: Scholarship payments will be made directly to Fox Valley Technical College Foundation upon their request.

Leila I. Blajeski (“Mrs. B”) Memorial Scholarship Fund

Eligibility:    Graduating seniors at Kaukauna High School who plan to pursue higher education in a field of study related to Home Economics, Family and Consumer Education, Culinary Arts, Child Care, Fashion, or similar. The following will be taken into consideration to determine the recipient:  Minimum GPA of 3.0  Enrolled full time in an accredited two‐ or four‐year college, university or technical school or an accredited vocational school    Involvement in school and community activities  Conscientious and hardworking  Financial need Award Amount:      One $500 non‐renewable scholarship award for tuition expenses               Selection:    Recipients are selected each spring by the Kaukauna High School Scholarship Selection Committee.   

Roy and Donita Gross Scholarship

Eligibility: Non-traditional students who have completed at least one semester in either the Culinary Arts or Hotel and Restaurant Management programs at Fox Valley Technical College. Award Amount: One non-renewable $500 scholarship awards for tuition expenses. Selection: Selection of the recipient will be made by the Fox Valley Technical College Scholarship Review Committee. Payment Procedure: Scholarship payment will be made directly to Fox Valley Technical College Foundation upon request. NEWH Chapters Scholarships

Chapter scholarships are awarded annually based upon the following criteria: Standard Criteria: Attend an accredited institution of higher learning Competition of half of the requirements for a degree or certification in the program currently enrolled Show financial need Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher Have a career objective in one of the areas of the Hospitality Industry, such as Hotel/Restaurant Management, Culinary/Foodservice, Architecture, Interior Design Provide the following: Student Essay Transcript Letters of recommendation from Dept. Head, Professors, Advisor Letters of recommendation from industry professionals, employers, etc.

Scholarship Award Program

Over $1,700,000 in tuition scholarships are being offered in both degree and diploma programs to Florida high school graduates. These scholarships are available in such diverse specialties as business administration, electronic engineering technology, drafting and computer assisted design, secretarial, fashion merchandising and design, accounting, cartooning/illustration, court reporting, professional mariner, culinary arts, hospitality management, private investigation, nail and skin care technology, respiratory therapy technician, travel and tourism, cosmetology, video film production and recording arts, automotive service technology, photography, industrial design technology, music and video business, allied health administration, air conditioning and refrigeration technology, paralegal studies, interior design, therapeutic massage, rescue and advanced open water diving, cardiovascular technologist, visual communication, medical or dental assisting and other business, health care and technical/career fields.

The Ryan Wells Foundation Scholarship

Sponsor: The Ryan Wells FoundationAmount: 1 or more scholarships of $1,000 or moreUse: Culinary or Hospitality at a Vo-tech to a four year collegeCriteria: 1. Student must enter into a culinary or Hospitality program.2. The students G.P.A. must be a 2.53. The student must have completed at least 3 semesters of culinary or hospitality courses.4.
