Ouida Mundy Hill Memorial Fund

Description:This scholarship is part of the Hawai‘i Community Foundation's Vocational Education Scholarship Program. Vocational Education describes certification or degree programs designed to teach students skills for a specific segment of employment. Programs include culinary arts, auto repair, diesel mechanics, cosmetology, computer graphics and assistive medical technology. Requirements:For students enrolled in vocational education programs in the UH Community College system.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Majors Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria:•Must be of Hispanic background•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming academic year•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale•Must demonstrate financial need•Must be studying a major that falls under the STEM Majors Application

Bob and Dawn Hardy Automotive Scholarship

For students enrolled in the AST Program at Jackson College. The Bob and Dawn Hardy Automotive Scholarship provides two awards. Eligibility Requirements: Cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher Who Can Apply: Applicants need to be currently enrolled full-time or part-time in Jackson College’s Automotive Service Technology or Ford Maintenance and Light Repair Associate in Applied Science Program or Automotive Service Technology or Ford Maintenance and Light Repair Certificate Program. Graduating high school senior Student already enrolled in and taking undergraduate classes Adult returning to college Previous recipients Scholarship Award: Up to $3,000; More than one scholarship may be awarded Scholarship Use: Tuition and fees and required course materials such as tools

Regeneron Science Talent Search

Regeneron STS is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science research competition for high school students. Started in 1942 as the Westinghouse Science Talent Search, Regeneron STS recognizes and empowers our nation’s most promising young scientists who are developing ideas that could solve society’s most urgent challenges. Each year, nearly 2,000 students enter the Regeneron STS, submitting original research in critically important scientific fields of study. Unique among high school competitions, the Regeneron STS focuses on identifying, inspiring, and engaging the nation’s most promising future leaders in STEM. $2,000 scholarship award to Yamhill County high school graduates moving on to a trade school program

Larry H. Averill Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: Upper level undergraduate; automotive career interest; 3.0 minimum GPA required; full-time at an accredited college or university; financial need considered.

Harold Dieckmann Draper, Sr. Scholarship

Eligibility: Upper level undergraduate; automotive career interest; 3.4 minimum GPA required; full-time at an accredited college or university; financial need considered.

John E. Echlin Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: Upper level undergraduate; automotive career interest; 3.0 minimum GPA required; full-time at an accredited college or university; financial need considered.

Carlyle Fraser / Wilton Looney Scholarship

Eligibility: Upper level undergraduate; automotive aftermarket career interest; 3.4 minimum GPA required; full-time at an accredited college or university (preference given to students attending Northwood University); financial need considered.

John Goerlich Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: Upper level undergraduate; automotive career interest; 3.4 minimum GPA required; full-time at an accredited college or university; financial need considered.

Charles V. Hagler Scholarship

Eligibility: Automotive career interest; 3.0 minimum GPA required; full-time at an accredited college or university; financial need considered.

Zenon C.R. Hansen Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: Upper level undergraduate; automotive/trucking career interest; 3.4 minimum GPA required; full-time at an accredited college or university; financial need considered.
