Whimsical Farms/EGO Scholarship

Howard Wackman Memorial Scholarship

Agriculture - Academic Opportunity Award

Scholarships are awarded to students in the following areas of study: General Agriculture, Animal Science, Agronomy, Beef Cattle Management, Pre-Veterinary Medicine, and Agricultural Business. These awards are for incoming freshmen only.

Ark River Bend Chapter, Soil and Water Conservation Society Scholarship Fund

Area of study will be in the Department of Agriculture. The scholarship will be available for 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year students. The geographical area for the student is from the counties of Barber, Barton, Comanche, Edwards, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Kiowa, McPherson, Pawnee, Pratt, Reno, Rice, Rush, Sedgwick, Stafford or Sumner. A minimum GPA of 3.0 or above within the major is required. The scholarship will be $200 for the academic year awarded.

Charles and Lura Stutzman Memorial Scholarship

Available to outstanding Agriculture majors.

Curtis Stern Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship eligibility requirements include: students interested in the field of agriculture with a special emphasis on sunflower production, promotion or research. Department of Agriculture Endowed Scholarship

Recipients of the scholarship must be majors in the Department of Agriculture. Recommendation and selection for the scholarship will be made by the Department of Agriculture Scholarship Committee.

Farm Credit Scholarship

Eligibility: 1. Demonstrate leadership and academic potential (3.0 or above GPA) 2. Farm background 3. Agriculture Business or Business major 4. Preference given to sons and daughters of Farm Credit members, juniors and seniors.

Herbert L. Fought Fund

Applicants must be majoring in Agriculture at FHSU and planning a future in agriculture. Applicants should be industrious students with acceptable scholastic records, good moral character and a need for financial assistance. Preference will be given to Kansas students.

High Plains Farm Credit Scholarship

Applicant must be a sophomore, junior or senior with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Preference given to students from western Kansas with a farm background. Two scholarships will be awarded. One for students enrolled in the Department of Agriculture and one for students majoring in Accounting, Finance, Management or Marketing.

Kansas Farm Bureau Scholarship

Students must be juniors or seniors majoring in Agriculture or a closely related field. Parents must be members of the Kansas Farm Bureau. Two non-renewable $1,000 scholarships are available.
