Agribusiness Scholarships

Here are some of the Agribusiness scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.

Darling International Inc. Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture or agribusiness. Attendance at a land grant college in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska or Wisconsin required.AWARD: One scholarship at $2,000, non-renewable.

Harold Davis Memorial Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in animal science (livestock or dairy), agricultural education or agribusiness. Applicants must have a livestock background in swine, beef, dairy or any combination and complete the financial analysis section of the application.AWARD: Approximately one scholarship at $400. Not guaranteed.

Robert Eggert Memorial Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agribusiness. Minimum 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale required. Applicant must demonstrate a record of academic excellence and public service.AWARD: Approximately one scholarship at $1,000. Not guaranteed.

Farm Credit Services of Mid-America Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agribusiness, economics, finance or accounting. Must be resident of Kentucky or Ohio. (Indiana and Tennessee residents may apply for the FFA-Farm Credit scholarship through their state office.)AWARD: Two scholarships at $2,000 each, non-renewable.

FarmAid Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture. Applicants must be from family-owned farms and complete financial analysis section of application. Minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale required.AWARD: Approximately four scholarships at $3,000 each. Freshman year is $1,500, sophomore year is $1,000, and $500 for junior year. The second and third year scholarships are provided if a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale is maintained. Not guaranteed.

Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agronomy, crop science, agricultural communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, business management, economics, finance, sales, marketing, plant pathology/breeding/genetics, soil science or soil/water conservation. One scholarship will be awarded to resident of Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Two scholarships each will be awarded to residents of Iowa and Nebraska. Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale required.AWARD: 17 scholarships at $1,500 each, non-renewable

Fastline Publications Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agricultural business/farm/livestock or ranch management or agricultural sales and marketing. Seventeen $1,000 scholarships to a member from Illinois; Indiana; Iowa; Kansas; Kentucky; West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina or South Carolina; Arkansas, Louisiana or Mississippi; Missouri; Nebraska; Pennsylvania or New York; Washington, Oregon or Idaho; Ohio; Oklahoma; Alabama, Georgia or Florida; Tennessee; Texas; Wisconsin. In addition, seven scholarships are available to FFA members pursuing a two-year degree in agricultural business/farm/livestock or ranch management or agricultural sales and marketing to the states of Kansas; Kentucky; Nebraska; Ohio; Oklahoma; Texas; Alabama, Georgia or Florida. Applicants must live on a family farm, exhibit strong leadership skills, financial need and demonstrate interest in managing a farm.AWARD: 24 scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.

The Ed Johnson Memorial Scholarship Sponsored by Ohio FFA Foundation

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agriculture, communication, education, business management, economics, international agriculture, finance, sales and marketing and science, engineering and related specialists except biochemistry, biological science, biotechnology and marine biology. Attendance at The Ohio State University and Ohio residency required. Must exhibit strong leadership skills, have participated in community service, have work experience in the field of agriculture and produce a statement of educational and career goals.AWARD: One scholarship at $1,000, non-renewable.

Elmer J. and Hester Jane Johnson Memorial Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agricultural education. Applicants must complete financial analysis section of application. Financial need, leadership ability and academic standing will be considered.AWARD: Approximately one scholarship at $1,000. Not guaranteed.

The Earl F. 'Doc' Kantner Scholarship Sponsored by Ohio FFA Foundation

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in any area of agriculture. Must be resident of Ohio and plan to attend The Ohio State University. Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale required. Must exhibit strong leadership skills and have participated in community service.AWARD: One scholarship at $1,000, non-renewable.

Kikkoman Foods, Inc. Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agricultural business management, food science and technology, dietetics, food service management and other non-agricultural related areas. Applicant must be a resident of and planning to attend a school in Wisconsin.AWARD: One scholarship at $1,000, non-renewable.

Bill Kirk Scholarship Endowment

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agricultural education or agricultural sciences. Preference given to applicants with local, state or national leadership experience. Minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale required.AWARD: Approximately one scholarship at $1,000. Not guaranteed.
