Melvin P. Mel and Lyndell Crowder NCW Memorial Horticulture Scholarship

Awarded to a student enrolled in the Tree Fruit Production Program at WVC or Tree Fruit Management in the Horticulture Program at WSU. Possible renewal upon reapplication and acceptance. Career in Horticulture. Giving limited to north central WA; Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties.

Altrusa Club of Wenatchee Scholarship

Two-year award paid at $500 each year for a female Wenatchee Valley College graduate enrolled at a 4-year college or university. Second year is contingent upon reapplication and a successful first year. Giving limited to north central WA; Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties.

Dr. Steven G. Kerr Memorial Medical Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Non-traditional student at Wenatchee Valley College enrolled in the Allied Health Program. RENEWAL: Possible. Must reapply and will compete with new applicants.

Arlene Birdsell Martin Teaching Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Current student graduating from Wenatchee Valley College; seeking a teaching degree at a 4-year college or university. Preference given to English majors. RENEWAL: Possible. Must reapply and will compete with new applicants.

Dorothy Prewitt Pohlman / AAUW Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Current or former female student at Wenatchee Valley College; must have completed a minimum of 60 cumulative credits at Wenatchee Valley College (completion of an AA degree is not required); must be accepted at a 4-year college in Washington state with plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree; successful candidate(s) will be attending the 4-year school in the fall. RENEWAL: Possible. Must reapply and will compete with new applicants.

Payton, Gary Foundation Endowed Scholarship

For lesbians from the state of Washington.

Brian M. Day Scholarship

For Puget Sound area gay men of color who have significant financial need and demonstrate activism in the gay/lesbian community and their communities of color.

For Washington residents under age 25 raised by one or more lesbian or gay parent.

Derivative Duo Scholarship

For residents of Washington studying mental health or human services.

Don Renschler Scholarship

For Washington residents who are graduate students in the study of mental health.
