MCA Chaplain Candidate Scholarships

This scholarship provides a stipend of $2,000 to seminary students who are serving as chaplain candidates for the U.S. armed forces. It is open to full-time students in accredited seminaries who are currently approved as and serving as chaplain candidates in the armed forces (Army, Air Force, or Navy). Applicants must submit 4 letters of recommendation and information on their family financial situation. MCA Seminarian Scholarship

This scholarship provides a stipend of $2,000 to military personnel who are training to become military chaplains. It is open to full-time students at accredited seminaries who are currently approved as and serving as a chaplain candidate in one of the armed forces. The most important selection factor is financial need. Applicants must submit a copy of their Application for Federal Student Aid form OMB 1840-0010 and the official reply form OMB 1840-0132 or a copy of their College Scholarship Profile application and official reply. In addition, applicants must submit 4 letters of reference and a current photograph (in uniform, if available).
