Allegheny County Medical Society (ACMS) Medical Student Scholarship

The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society is pleased to administer the ACMS Medical Student Scholarship for medical students who are residents of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Washington, and Westmoreland counties.This scholarship is made possible by contributions from the ACMS Foundation which established the fund within the Foundation to assist local students with the cost of attending a Pennsylvania medical school.

PPG Industries Foundation Scholarship

Giving on a national basis in areas of company operations, with emphasis on the Pittsburgh, PA, area; giving also to national organizations.

Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh

Giving primarily in the Pittsburgh, PA, area.

Bethel Park Community Foundation, Inc.

The foundation seeks to foster and improve the quality of life for residents of Bethel Park with emphasis on recreational and leisure facilities, fine and performing arts, and education and technology. No grants to individuals (except for scholarships) Limited to residents of the Bethel Park, PA, area.

Mary M. Cartolano Trust - Scholarship

William G. Belfry Memorial / SAE Grant

Student Eligibility Requirements * Full-time college junior at Canadian universities. * Canadian citizen at time of application. * Demonstrate the intent to pursue a career in mobility engineering and show academic and leadership achievements as well as show involvement in SAE Collegiate Chapter activities. Terms of Scholarship:Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded each year: * One scholarship will be awarded to a Canadian citizen enrolled at any Canadian university. * One scholarship will be specific to a student at the University of Toronto. How to Apply: * Download the application and save it to your computer as a Word document. * Complete the application. All applications should be typed and submitted as a Word document or in .pdf format. * Submit the following by February 15: o Completed application o Official college transcript * All materials should be sent to: Email: scholarships@sae.org Mail: SAE International Scholarships & Loan Program 400 Commonwealth Drive Warrendale, PA 15096 Selection and Announcement of Recipient: * The SAE Central Ontario Section will select the recipient of the scholarship for the University of Toronto. * The recipient of the second scholarship will be selected by the SAE Scholarships Committee. * Recipients will be notified by the end of June. * A list of all recipients of the SAE Scholarships and Loan Program will be posted online in July. Payment of Scholarship Funds: * This scholarship will be paid into your account at your selected university in July/August. * It can be used for tuition or any other incidental school expenses. Terms for Renewal of Scholarship: This scholarship is not renewable.

SAE Long Term Member Sponsored Scholarship

Student Eligibility Requirements: * College junior at the time of application. * SAE student member who actively supports SAE and its programs. * Pursue an engineering degree through an ABET accredited program. Terms of Scholarship:Several $1,000 scholarship will be awarded each year, depending on available funding levels.How to Apply: * Download the application and save it to your computer as a Word document. * Complete the application. All applications should be typed and submitted as a Word document or in .pdf format. * Submit the following by February 15: o Completed application o At least one letter of recommendation from the SAE Faculty Advisor, an SAE Section officer or a community leader. * All materials should be sent to: Email: scholarships@sae.org Mail: SAE International Scholarships & Loan Program 400 Commonwealth Drive Warrendale, PA 15096 Selection and Announcement of Recipient: * Recipients will be selected by the SAE Scholarship Committee and notified by the end of June. * A list of all scholarship recipients will be posted on www.sae.org/scholarships by the end of July. SAE/David Hermance Hybrid Technologies Scholarship

Student Eligibility Requirements: * U.S. citizenship (not permanent resident). * College sophomore at the time of application. * 3.50 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale. * Pursue an engineering degree through an ABET accredited program. * Enroll in a two- or four-year engineering or science program at an accredited college or university. Terms of Scholarship:One $2,500 scholarship will be awarded each year.How to Apply: * Download the application and save it to your computer as a Word document. * Complete the application.
