Clubs of America

Eligible students will: Write an essay of no fewer than 600 words about their career aspirations and how their current course load will help them achieve success in their careers. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Thinking outside the box is encouraged! Email their essay as a .doc or .pdf attachment to: scholarship@greatclubs.com YouTube submissions are optional, although not required. Video should be no longer than 5 minutes. (Essays submitted via YouTube must also be submitted in writing.)

HSF/Hormel Scholarship

Program Description:The HSF/Hormel Scholarship Program is a scholarship of $2,500 awarded for applicants interested in a career in the food industry.In addition, interested students can apply to be considered for a paid internship. Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic heritage * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a permanent address in one of the following Midwest states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale * Be a Junior with an intended graduation date between December and August * Be majoring in Accounting, Mechanical Engineering (includes Mechanical Technology), Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering/Technology (includes Industrial Management) Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration (includes Operations), Management, Agriculture Science/Agronomy (includes Agriculture Engineering, Agribusiness, Ag Economics, Food Service), Computer Science, Information Technology (IT/MIS) (includes Computer Information Systems), Zoology (includes Animal Science), Marketing (includes Professional Selling), Hospitality Administration (includes Hotel/Restaurant Management) or related majors * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

June Longworth Hardy Scholarship

Recipients must be a member of Alpha Iota/Washington University in St. Louis (D) or a member of Theta who is majoring in elementary or secondary education in the Midwest. (Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Missouri.)

NDSCPA Society Board of Directors Scholarship

The Society provides a Board of Directors Scholarship. To be considered for the award, applications are to be filed by Oct. 31. The award has a value of $1000, and will be presented during the Fall semester. The recipient must be an NDCPAS student member or affiliate, who intends to write the CPA Exam and become a CPA. Applicants are to provide a narrative (under 150 words) about why they are pursuing the CPA credential. Applicants are to apply online, and must have completed Intermediate Accounting by the time of application. From among the applicants, finalists will be selected based the narrative content, and such preference items as Society involvement, and intent to pursue a career in North Dakota.

Activia Training Annual Scholarship Award

Activia Training are pleased to offer a $1,500 annual scholarship for college, university, high school or trade school students in the US. There is no specific course of study required, and you can use the money in whatever way that you feel benefits your studies the most. There will be two scholarship awards of $750 each year, awarded in November and May as follows: - The video winner will receive $500 - The essay format winner will receive $250 Furthermore, all entries adjudged to be of a suitable standard will be eligible for an “expenses award” as follows: - YouTube videos: $20 - Blog articles: $15 To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be at least 16 years of age and attending, or have secured a place, at a college, university, high school or trade school in the US. Galvanize the Future: An Edgar K Schutz Memorial Scholarship

The American Galvanizers Association’s (AGA) Galvanize the Future: An Edgar K Schutz Memorial Scholarship essay contest was developed to assist future specifiers with the rising cost of a college education. The scholarship is available to full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university in North America studying architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, construction management, material science, or a related field. Three scholarships are awarded annually ($2,500; $1,500; and $1,000) for the top essays submitted. Any full- or part-time, undergraduate or graduate student of any age enrolled at an accredited college or university only in North America. High school students are not eligible to enter this contest. Qualifying majors include architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, construction management, material science, or other related field.

Belles of the American Royal (BOTAR) Presidents’ Scholarship

Provides four AFA Leader and Academic Scholarships to female, Midwest agriculture students with a special interest in agriculture education . This scholarship provides a $3,200 academic tuition/fees scholarship, $1,000 registration fee for AFA Leaders Conference and the opportunity for the student to attend the BOTAR General Membership Meeting in January of her initial scholarship selection year. This scholarship is renewable up to three times if all scholarship requirements are fulfilled and at the discretion of the BOTAR committee. If a student receives this scholarship an additional three times, she will be asked to attend the BOTAR General Membership Meeting in her senior year as well, to share about her experiences. Students eligible to receive the AFA Leader and Academic Scholarship provided by BOTAR must: Be a female student pursuing a four-year degree in Agriculture Education or related field in the Midwest. Attend the BOTAR General Membership Meeting in January of her initial scholarship selection year. Meet all the AFA scholarship criteria and requirements listed above.

SelectSpace Scholarship

Selectspace scholarship At SelectSpace Partitions, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree. The awarded student will receive $500 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree. Who may apply? U.S. citizens accepted to or currently attending a college or university within the United States. The winner will be required to provide proof of acceptance to your college or university, or a college transcript. Deadline: Applications must be submitted via the web form by November 30. Next Steps: The award recipient will be notified of the selection on or around December 31. The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $500 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.

Clay Lacy Professional Pilot Scholarship Program

The Clay Lacy Professional Pilot Scholarship Program was established by famed aviator Clay Lacy, through an agreement with EAA, to provide a unique opportunity for students to prepare for an aviation career with a quality education. It provides up to four highly-qualified flight students the opportunity to attend a professional pilot program at the University of North Dakota’s John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to earn a college degree as a professional pilot and obtain commercial, instrument, multi-engine and all fixed-wing flight instructor ratings. Participants will also live on the EAA Air Academy campus and support EAA programs, activities and events. This scholarship offering provides for an inclusion of a substantial portion of flight-related fees within each total award of up to $12,500 per year per scholarship. Special considerations: Applicants must apply for this scholarship through the UND Odegard School of Aerospace Science. Recipients must attend UND; meet FAA criteria for licensure; must have a private pilot's certificate; and must demonstrate financial need. Green Law Firm Nursing Home & Elderly Care

Attorney Bill Green and his team at Green Law Firm are committed to improving the quality of care in nursing homes. With over 26 years of experience serving the community and many years fighting against low standards of elderly care, Bill is dedicated to promoting passionate students who are focused on making care homes a ‘home’ for our senior population. We are pleased to be offering a $1500 nursing scholarship to high-achieving students who are committed to elderly care and pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Curtis Stern Memorial Scholarship

The initial purpose of the Fund is to financially assist students who are interested in the field of agriculture with special emphasis on sunflower production, promotion or research. Preference will be given to students who are in their last two years of undergraduate studies or in graduate level studies and have maintained at least a cumulative 3.0 gpa on a 4.0=A scale. Application deadline is May 15th and will be awarded by July 15th. The award amount may vary each year, but will be at least $1,000.
