North Carolina Scholarships

The Tar Heel State of North Carolina is a diverse and eclectic place. Some parts of the state are as flat as the ocean. At the other end, the state boasts of the highest elevation in the Eastern U.S. in Mount Mitchell (nearly 7,000 feet). Similar to the wide ranging elevations in North Carolina, there are also a wide range of colleges and universities.

The state features several world famous learning institutions. These include Duke University, the University of North Carolina, Wake Forest, NC State and Appalachian State University. But that's not all. There are also smaller liberal arts colleges that are internationally regarded and feature small class sizes and accommodating teacher-to-student ratios. In this category are places such as St. Andrews Presbyterian College and Guilford College in Greensboro.
