Marion Tyler Blake Trust

Support for students pursuing music studies, with special consideration given to students with an interest in traditional American ragtime music. Joseph and Sylvia Slifka Foundation Scholarship

Eligible Schools: UNCF Member Colleges and Universities (please check the website for the complete list) The Josepha and Sylvia Slifka Foundation, Inc. is a private family foundation based in New York, NY. The foundation supports the arts, higher education and Jewish causes. Historically, the foundation has supported UNCF in the form of unrestricted support. In 2007, the foundations board of directors decided to increase their support with a $1 million grant to establish the UNCF/Joseph and Sylvia Slifka Foundation Scholarship Program. This four-year scholarship program offers Full tuition, room and board, fees and books to entering freshman at a UNCF member institution and will continue through the senior year. All applicants must be U.S. citizens, have a minimum 2.5 grade point average and a demonstrated need. Scholarship amounts will vary depending on tuition.
