Dan L. Meisinger, Sr. Memorial Learn to Fly Scholarship

The purpose of this fund is to provide an annual flight training scholarship to a qualified individual. The NATA Flight Training Committee (selection committee) will perform the initial screening. The group will provide a list of candidates to NATF without regard to race, religion, gender, disability or national origin. The NATF board of directors will make the final selection from the list of qualified candidates for the Dan L. Meisinger Sr. Memorial Learn to Fly Scholarship. The award will be announced each year during NATA's annual convention. EligibilityApplicants for the Dan L. Meisinger Sr. Memorial Learn to Fly Scholarship must: * Be a college student currently enrolled in an aviation program. * Be a high academic achiever with a "B," or better, average. * Be recommended by an aviation professional, although an individual application will be considered. * Be a resident of Kansas, Missouri or Illinois (preferably).AwardsThe annual Dan L. Meisinger Sr. Memorial Learn to Fly Scholarship amount is $2,500 and is to be used primarily for flight training. ApplicationInterested candidates must complete the official application and submit it along with any supporting documentation to the committee no later than the last Friday in November. Applicants are responsible for gathering and submitting all necessary information and supporting documentation. Applications are evaluated on the basis of information supplied. Therefore, it is important to answer all questions as completely as possible. Additional sheets may be used as necessary. All information received becomes the property of NATF, is considered confidential, and is reviewed only by the screening committee and NATF officials.

The Nolan Moore Scholarship

The Nolan Moore Scholarship was created by the Printing & Imaging Association of MidAmerica to provide educational opportunities to young men and women seeking to enter the printing and imaging industry.A candidate for the scholarship must have the following qualifications in order to be eligible:1. The candidate must be enrolled, or planning to enroll, in an educational institution which offers a two or four year accredited printing technology, printing management, or related degree. Candidates must be interested in a career in the printing and graphics arts industry, such as, production, management, production control, sales, variable data imaging, etc.Candidates interested in a career in commercial graphics, advertising or photography will not be considered.2. The candidate may attend a college or university in another state, but his/her permanent residence must be in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma or Texas.3. The candidate’s interest in the industry, as well as grade average will be the main criteria.
