Donald Stuart Corsaut Memorial Scholarship

Saginaw County resident. Attending an accredited school or vocational education program part-time or full-time. Studying machine tool operations, industrial supervision, skilled trades or mechanical design technology in pursuit of an undergraduate degree, vocational certification or journeyman's card. (Renewable on a competitive basis. The scholarship can be used for tuition, books, course-related fees and tools.) Evaluation Criteria: Demonstrated financial need and financial self-help; special skills and interests (skilled trades, fixing things, etc.); community/school involvement and work experience; career goals as demonstrated in essay; recommendations.

Carol A. Doman Scholarship

This scholarship is given to assist students starting or returning to college who plan to pursue a career in social work or special education. Minimum 2.5 GPA. Saginaw County resident. Pursuing a degree in social work or special education at a Michigan college or university. Part-time or full-time college enrollment. (Renewable on a competitive basis. The scholarship can be used for tuition and books.) Evaluation Criteria (points): Demonstrated financial need (40 points); commitment to career goal as demonstrated in the essay (30); work/community service (15); recommendations (15).

Norman D. Osborne Memorial Scholarship

Minimum 3.0 GPA. Saginaw County resident. Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a human service field. Must be at least a college sophomore at time of application. Part-time or full-time college enrollment. (Nonrenewable. The scholarhsip can be used for tuition and books.) Evaluation criteria: Demonstrated financial need; community service/work involvement; essay; recommendations.

Bud and Katherine Rae Aviation Scholarship

U.S. citizen. Legal resident of Saginaw County. Accepted or enrolled in an aviation-related program at a technical school, community college or university in Michigan. Show character, commitment, and ability for a career in aviation. Interest and involvement in aviation-oriented activities is mandatory (i.e. Civil Air Patrol, Young Eagle). Full-time student enrollment. (Renewable on a competitive basis. The scholarship can be used for tuition, books, course-related fees, room and board.) Evaluation Criteria: Demonstrated financial need; academic abilities in science and math, and/or skills appropriate to aviation career; involvement in aviation-related activities.

Saginaw County Lawyers' Auxiliary Scholarship

Minimum 2.5 GPA. Pursuing a law-related degree. Attending Delta College, Davenport University - Central Region, or Saginaw Valley State University part-time or full-time. (Renewable on a competitive basis. The scholarship can be used for tuition and books.) Evaluation Criteria (points): Commitment to law-related studies as demonstrated in the essay (25 points); scholastic record (10); honors (10); demonstrated qualities of citizenship and leadership (10); community activities (10); extracurricular activities (10); recommendations (20); demonstrated financial need (5).

Tiderington Family Scholarship

Saginaw County students pursuing a vocational career. Minimum 2.5 GPA. Full-time college enrollment. (Renewable on a competitive basis. The scholarship can be used for tuition.) Evaluation Criteria (points): Demonstrated financial need (25 points); commitment to goal as demonstrated in the essay (20); scholastic record (15); extracurricular activities (10); past work experience (10); demonstrated leadership (10); recommendations (10).

William & Cordula Freese Scholarship

Saginaw County resident. Visually or otherwise physically handicapped student. Full-time college enrollment. (The scholarship can be used for tuition, books, course-related fees, room and board.)

Saginaw Community Foundation Scholarship

Giving limited to Saginaw County, MI. No support for churches or sectarian religious programs.

John & Nesbeth Bees School Foundation
