Alpha Delta Kappa - Alpha Pi/Fidelis Gamma Chapter Scholarship

CRITERIA:Bay County Resident. College junior. Proof of Admission into a School of Education Program. Minimum 3.2 GPA.* Student is attending or will attend an accredited college or university in the United States. * Student must have two letters of recommendation. Bay City Civitan/Marcella Barber Scholarship

Criteria: The scholarship recipient must be a Bay County resident who is a full-time student at a public or private college/university in the State of Michigan. Priority will be given to a student entering their Junior orSenior year of study and majoring in a field related to developmental disabilities. The student’s grade point average must be 3.0 or better.* Student must have two letters of recommendation. At least one letter must be school related and one letter may be personal or professional.* Student must submit a 500 word essay replying to the question, "Why are you seeking a Bay Area Community Foundation scholarship? How will it make a difference in your life?"* Scholarship Application and ALL attachments must be submitted to the Bay Area Community Foundation by 4:30 pm on the first Monday in March.

Bay City Kiwanis Educational Scholarship

Criteria: Minimum 3.5 GPA. Full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours). Maintain a 2.5 GPA minimum during enrollment. Financial need and academic ability. The award may be used for an academic undergraduate course of study, not to exceed four years, at any North Central accredited school in the State of Michigan. Recipients may reapply in future years.* Scholarship is restricted to permanent residents of Bay County.* Student must have two letters of recommendation. At least one letter must be school related and one letter may be personal or professional.* Student must submit a 500 word essay replying to the question, "Why are you seeking a Bay Area Community Foundation scholarship? Bay County Dental Auxiliary Scholarship

Criteria: Full-time student. Financial need. Open to Dental students, Dental Hygiene students, Dental Auxiliary (Assistant) students and Dental Technology students. Prior recipients may re-apply.1. Dental Students - accepted into an accredited dental school or enrolled in one.2. Dental Hygiene Students - accepted into an accredited Dental Hygiene program and must have completed one year of Dental Hygiene clinical studies.3. Dental Auxiliary (Assistant) Students - accepted into an accredited Dental Auxiliary program and must have completed one year of Dental Auxiliary studies.4. Bay County Medical Society Alliance Merit Scholarship

Criteria: Full or part-time student. Minimum 3.0 GPA. Recipients must have completed one year of college and provide proof of acceptance (such as a letter from program director, acceptance letter, etc.) into an accredited program of nursing, physical therapy, graduate medical school or other health-care related program.* Scholarship is restricted to permanent residents of Bay County.* Student must have two letters of recommendation. Edmond H. Borgioli Educational Scholarship

Criteria: School and community activities and involvement. Attended Kolb School for at least one year. Exhibit exemplary character and promise, in need of financial assistance and sincere in furthering educational objectives. Full-time student.* Student is attending or will attend an accredited college or university in the United States. * Scholarship is restricted to permanent residents of Bay County.* Student must have two letters of recommendation. The Peggy Brown Educational Scholarship

Criteria: Full or part-time student accepted at any Michigan school. Member or family member of the Michigan Educational Support Personnel Association (MESPA) or Michigan Education Association (MEA). Criteria: Bay County student studying speech pathology. Criteria: Be employee or spouse, child or grandchild of an active, retired or deceased employee of GM Powertrain Bay City. Employee does not have to be a Bay County resident. Criteria: Pinconning area senior. Involved in at least one school related extra-curricular activity. Accepted as a full or part-time student. Minimum 2.65 – 3.50 GPA. Criteria: Student must be in last year of college. Awards are based on financial need, scholastic standing, character and qualities of leadership and citizenship.* Scholarship is restricted to permanent residents of Bay County.* Student must have two letters of recommendation. Criteria: Bay County resident who has struggled academically for various reasons, such as family issues, peer issues, illness, or who has and/or wants to overcame their obstacles.
