Eligible students will:
Write an essay of no fewer than 600 words about their career aspirations and how their current course load will help them achieve success in their careers. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Thinking outside the box is encouraged!

YouTube submissions are optional, although not required. Video should be no longer than 5 minutes. (Essays submitted via YouTube must also be submitted in writing.)
Ann Wright Hart/Nashville Alumnae Chapter Scholarship
The scholarship shall be awarded to:
1. A freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior collegian member of Alpha Eta/Vanderbilt University or Eta Phi/Belmont University or with a permanent address in the greater Nashville, Tennessee area who will pursue an undergraduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded.
2. Should no applicants meet the criteria stipulated in #1, the scholarship shall be awarded to a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior collegian member of a college chapter in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, or Tennessee who will pursue an undergraduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is
awarded.
3. Should no applicants meet the criteria stipulated in #1-#2, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity who will pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree during the year for which the scholarship is awarded.
4. In the event Alpha Eta is disestablished and ceases to exist, unless and until Alpha Eta is reestablished, the scholarship shall be awarded to a collegian or alumna member of Alpha Eta, a collegian member of Eta Phi, or a collegian member with a permanent address in the greater Nashville, Tennessee area who is qualified under the Foundation's then current
general scholarship criteria. Should no members of Alpha Eta or Eta Phi or members with a permanent address in the greater Nashville, Tennessee area qualify, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity who is qualified under the Foundation's then current general scholarship criteria.
5. In the event Eta Phi is disestablished and ceases to exist, unless and until Eta Phi is reestablished, the scholarship
shall be awarded to a collegian or alumna member of Eta Phi, a collegian member of Alpha Eta, or a collegian member with a permanent address in the greater Nashville, Tennessee area who is qualified under the Foundation's then current general scholarship criteria. Should no members of Alpha Eta or Eta Phi or with a permanent address in the greater
Nashville, Tennessee area qualify, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity who is qualified under the Foundation's then current general scholarship criteria.
Joan Wagner Essex Scholarship
Junior member of Gamma Iota Chapter/KY with demonstrated leadership qualities and minimum grade point average of 3.0 out of a 4.0 scale. (Members pulled had a 3.0 accum or above) Should GI ever lose its charter, the award should go to a member of any Theta chapter in Kentucky. Should there not be any Theta chapters in Kentucky, the award should go to a Theta resident of Kentucky. Sallie should be the primary contact for the scholarship and wants it to be awarded every year.
Initiated collegian or alumnae members of Kappa Alpha Theta in good standing with the Fraternity who will pursue an undergraduate degree
Academic Year. (New Members may apply, but should have signed Loyalty Pledge cards submitted to the Fraternity by the application deadline.)
Students who expect to have eligible academic expenses not funded by other scholarships or grants. Theta membership dues are not an eligible academic expense.
Applicants with applications and References’ recommendation forms submitted by the application deadline.
Kids’ Chance of Kentucky, Inc. Scholarship
To qualify, the scholarship recipient must be the child of a worker who has been seriously, catastrophically or fatally injured in a work related accident.CRITERIA:1. The applicant must be the natural, adopted, step-child or full dependent of a worker killed or permanently injured in a compensable work-related accident during the course and scopeof employment with a Kentucky based employer and entitled to receive benefits under the Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Act.2. The applicant must be between the ages of 16 and 25 at the time of the application.3. The applicant must demonstrate substantial financial need.4. Academic achievement, aptitude and community service of the applicant are considered.
The Katharine M. Grosscup Scholarships in Horticulture
Purpose: To encourage the study of horticulture and related fields.
History: The Katharine M. Grosscup Scholarship Fund was established in 1981 by Mrs. John Berdan, a member of the Garden Club of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. It is in honor of her friend, Katharine MacConnell Grosscup, a talented gardener and enthusiastic conservationist who shared her knowledge with family, friends, and garden clubs.
Provisions: Provides several students annually with financial assistance of up to $3500 each.
Eligibility: Open to college juniors, seniors, or graduate students in horticulture or a related field, with preference given to students from Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Activia Training Annual Scholarship Award
Activia Training are pleased to offer a $1,500 annual scholarship for college, university, high school or trade school students in the US. There is no specific course of study required, and you can use the money in whatever way that you feel benefits your studies the most.
There will be two scholarship awards of $750 each year, awarded in November and May as follows:
- The video winner will receive $500
- The essay format winner will receive $250
Furthermore, all entries adjudged to be of a suitable standard will be eligible for an “expenses award” as follows:
- YouTube videos: $20
- Blog articles: $15
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be at least 16 years of age and attending, or have secured a place, at a college, university, high school or trade school in the US.

Baker/Geary Memorial Fund, Inc.
Giving scholarships for higher education. Applicants must have a financial need, must be participating in extra-curricular activities in addition to attending school, must have passing grades, and must have some connection to golf. Application form required. Initial approach: Letter Deadline(s): Dec. 1 Limited to residents of Kentucky.
SelectSpace Scholarship
Selectspace scholarship
At SelectSpace Partitions, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree. The awarded student will receive $500 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree.
Who may apply?
U.S. citizens accepted to or currently attending a college or university within the United States. The winner will be required to provide proof of acceptance to your college or university, or a college transcript.
Deadline:
Applications must be submitted via the web form by November 30.
Next Steps:
The award recipient will be notified of the selection on or around December 31. The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $500 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.
Gabbard-Hylton Scholarship Fund for Eastern Kentucky University
Gabbard-Hylton was established in 2013 from the bequest of Majorie G. Hylton. The scholarship fund will be used to provide awards to deserving students from Madison County or Rockcastle County, who will attend Eastern Kentucky University. The scholarship amount varies. For an application, contact the EKU Development Office at 606-622-2567.
Jane Allen Newman Scholarship
The Jane Allen Newman Scholarship Fund awards 3 scholarships of $2,000 each to high school seniors in Kentucky with financial need who wish to further pursue their education by attending college. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study, provided that the student maintains a 2.0 cumulative GPA, maintains full-time status, and is in good academic standing.
How do I qualify for this scholarship?
This scholarship is open to Kentucky high school seniors that demonstrate significant financial need and have
maintained at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA in high school.
Awards range from $1,000 to $2,000 per academic year and are renewable to up four years of undergraduate
study, provided that the student maintains a 2.0 cumulative GPA, full-time status, and in good academic
standing.
Edith Schwab Memorial Scholarship
The Edith Schwab Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Edith Schwab, Deputy Director of the Legislative Research Commission. This scholarship provides a non-renewable award of at least $1,000 to a graduate student pursuing a degree and career in government service (i.e. public service). This includes, but is not limited to fields of study such as public administration, teaching, public health, or social work.
Margaret Hall Alumnae Scholarship
The Margaret Hall Alumnae Scholarship Fund was established for students who are relatives of Margaret Hall School Alumnae in Versailles, Kentucky. Scholarship amount varies between $500 and $1,000.
ELIGIBILITY
To be considered for this award, the applicant must:
1. Be a relative of a Margaret Hall alumnus or faculty member.
2. Be a senior enrolled in an accredited high school.
3. Have attained a scholastic average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
4. Make application in accordance with instructions.
