Paul Pua`a `Ohana, Paul Moses Murray & Malia Murray Grant

 Be an undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited post-high institution including vocational or trade school  Demonstrate financial need  Preference given to students of special circumstances/personal hardship and residents of Moloka`i  Student Aid Report (SAR) from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Applications are open to the general public. However, it is the policy of the Pauahi Foundation to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.

Elena Albano 'Maka alohilohi' Scholarship Fund

Requirements: Be in recovery from a mental health / behavioral / or psychological disability. Be a resident of Maui County. Preference given to students of Hawaii ancestry and renewal applicants. Supplemental Materials Required:Submit two letters of recommendation from mentors, teachers, counselors, or other mental health professionals.

Hew-Shinn Scholarship Fund

Description:This scholarship is part of the Hawai‘i Community Foundation's Vocational Education Scholarship Program. Vocational Education describes certification or degree programs designed to teach students skills for a specific segment of employment. Programs include culinary arts, auto repair, diesel mechanics, cosmetology, computer graphics and assistive medical technology. Requirements: For Maui County residents pursuing vocational education at a school in Hawai‘i or on the mainland US. For students enrolled in vocational education programs in the UH Community College system.

K.M. Hatano Scholarship Fund

Description:The K.M. Hatano Scholarship Fund was created in 1987 through the generosity of Mr. Yasuji Hatano, President of Kokusai Motorcars Company of Japan. The scholarship was established to recognize men and women from Maui, Lana‘i and Moloka‘i who have excelled academically and have shown leadership and community involvement. Requirements: Be a Senior from the County of Maui (including Lana‘i & Moloka‘i). Attend a four-year college or university in the State of Hawai‘i.

Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association – Maui Region Scholarship

 Be a resident of the island of Maui and did not graduate from Kamehameha Schools  Demonstrate academic achievement and service to the community  Demonstrate financial need  Submit two letters of recommendation from school, employer or community organization who can comment on your overall character, achievement and contribution to serve the greater community  Student Aid Report (SAR) from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) General criteria: • Must be a classified undergraduate student • Enrolled in a degree-seeking program, unless specifically noted • Enrolled in a two- or four-year, accredited* college institution in Hawai`i or the continental U.S. • Full-time status, unless specifically noted • Demonstrate interest in Hawaiian language, culture, history • Demonstrate a commitment to contribute to the greater community. *See website for accrediting bodies that are recognized by the Foundation. Kamehameha Schools Association of Teachers and Parents Moloka`i “`Elua” Scholarship

 Sophomore level standing or higher (30+ college credits)  Minimum GPA 2.5  Current residents of the island of Moloka`i General criteria: • Must be a classified undergraduate student • Enrolled in a degree-seeking program, unless specifically noted • Enrolled in a two- or four-year, accredited* college institution in Hawai`i or the continental U.S. • Full-time status, unless specifically noted • Demonstrate interest in Hawaiian language, culture, history • Demonstrate a commitment to contribute to the greater community. *See website for accrediting bodies that are recognized by the Foundation.
