Orange County Philharmonic Society Scholarship

These performance awards can amount to the equivalent of one-half of tuition and are available in both vocal and instrumental music. However financial need is not a factor when determining a talent award

The Hobbs Community Scholarship Transfer Student Program

Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office unless otherwise indicated. Resident of Orange, CA. Must be enrolled in Santiago Canyon College in Orange, CA. Full Time student. Must apply for and be admitted to Chapman University.

National Council of Jewish Women

Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office unless otherwise indicated. Jewish students, male or female. Must have permanent address within the greater Long Beach or Orange County area.

Pat Nixon Scholarship

Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office unless otherwise indicated. Must be an Orange County resident. Must be registered Republican woman voter, 25 years of age or older.

Southern California Section Scholarship Program

Source: The Institute of Navigation (ION) Eligibility: To qualify to receive a scholarship award, an applicant must be a current college/university student and have successfully completed at least one term/quarter of classes. An undergraduate or graduate student must have a minimum GPA in college/university work of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale, or the equivalent in a different grading system. The award is limited to students who are current or future ION members and whose primary residence is in the Southern California section membership region. Apprenticeship activities will be selected to enhance the student's exposure to modern or classical navigational methods, with minimal time commitment. Orange County Hispanic Education Endowment Fund Scholarship Program (HEEF)

Award Amount: from $500 - $2,500 Requirements: * Award offered to Orange County Hispanic students with financial need at all levels of education. *Students may apply to more than one scholarship program but they may only receive one fund or program. *Different scholarships may have additional requirements.

Hispanic Bar Association/Wally Davis Legal Memorial Scholarship Fund

This fund is sponsored by the Hispanic Bar Association and awards scholarships to Orange County Hispanic law students. The Fund was named in memory of Wally Davis, one of the first Hispanic attorneys in Orange County who fought for the civil rights of all Hispanics. Eligible students must be from Orange County, be of Latino origin and have Latino community and school involvement in the fall. A photo is optional. Award Amount: $1,000 Max. Helen Johnson Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a college student pursuing broadcast journalism. This award honors the late Helen Johnson, a producer of “Channel 4 News Conference” and an associate producer of “Meet the Press.” ($500-$1,000). Students from Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties who have completed at least their freshman year of college.

CalCPA Collegiate Scholarship Program

Criteria • Sophomore business students majoring in accounting • Excellent communication skills • Completion of Financial Accounting or Managerial Accounting • Interest in pursuing a career in accounting in our region • Leadership ability • Grade point average of 3.0 or higher • U.S. citizen or legal resident of the United States

CalCPA Community College Scholarship Program

Criteria • Business students emphasizing accounting expecting to transfer to a university by the end of the current calendar year. • Excellent communication skills • Interest in pursuing a career in accounting in our region • Leadership ability • Grade point average of 3.0 or higher • U.S. citizen or legal resident of the United States

CalCPA University Scholarship Program

Criteria • Juniors or seniors with a major, minor or emphasis in accounting • Current enrollment or completion of Intermediate Accounting I • Excellent communication skills • Interest in pursuing a career in accounting in our region • Leadership ability • Grade point average of 3.0 or higher • U.S. citizen or legal resident of the United States

CalCPA Orange County/Long Beach Chapter Masters Scholarship

Thank you for applying for the CalCPA Orange County/Long Beach Chapter Master’s Scholarship! The chapter will be awarding scholarships to students from universities in our geographic area. Individual award is $3,500. We look forward to receiving your completed application. Eligibility: 1) Enrolled in a master’s program at a university in Orange County or Long Beach. 2) Master’s must be in accounting or tax 3) Must have completed one semester in the program 4) Master’s grade point average of 3.0 or higher 5) Pursuing a career as a CPA in our region 6) Excellent communication skills 7) Leadership ability 8) U.S. citizen or legal resident 9) Be a candidate member of CalCPA. Youth Scholarship Fund

The fund provides financial assistance to disadvantaged children enabling them to participate in the many positive activities offered by the Anaheim Community Services Department. Assistance League of Fullerton - Scholarship
