Nominations Invited for Templeton Prize for Progress Toward Research or Discoveries About Spiritual Realities- Closing Date: July 1, annually. A program of the John Templeton Foundation, the Templeton Prize is awarded annually by an international, multifaith panel of judges to a living person of any religious tradition who has made a unique contribution to progress in research or discoveries about spiritual realities. Eligible Applicants: Anyone may submit a nomination for this program. Leaders of theological and religious institutions and those engaged in innovative and creative research are especially invited to submit nominations. Amount: The Prize, currently worth 700,000 pounds sterling (approximately $1 million), is awarded for originality in advancing ideas and institutions that deepen an understanding of spiritual realities. Nominated contributions should be innovative, primarily spiritual rather than primarily humanitarian, and result in an appreciable acceleration in spiritual discoveries. Culinex Culinology Higher Education Scholarship
The Research Chefs Association (RCA) and CuliNex value the importance of Culinology® education. The Research Chefs Foundation (RCF) and CuliNex have teamed up to create an opportunity for individuals to succeed in this discipline by providing financial assistance in the form of a $4,000 scholarship for qualified individuals who exhibit a demonstrated interest in developing organic and natural foods.Scholarship candidates are judged on the basis of grade point average, financial need, and an essay. Recipients will receive scholarship money via deposit at the Financial Aid Office of the Campus of their choice, for the use of purchasing books and supplies, covering lab fees and tuition expenses.ELIGIBILITY? Candidates must be an RCA professional or student member. ? Have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours (sophomore level equivalent) of course study. ? Proof of acceptance, as a full- or part-time student into an RCA-approved Culinology® degree program.? Candidates must be majoring in Culinology®.? Recipients of other RCF scholarships are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Previous recipients of this scholarship are not eligible to apply.?
